Today we’re driving a 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Final Edition! The Gallardo started out life in 2003 as a powerful and striking mid-engine V10 platform for the Italian manufacturer to take on the new millennium, and eventually landed here in the 5.2L Final Edition. That’s a decade long of improvements which, at the time, may not have seemed like much, but it surprised us in how smooth and modern it is to drive in the real world even today. Rated at 553HP in stock form, it's not far off at all from the modern competition, provided of course some necessary modifications! In addition to the new front and rear bumper design for the FE, this particular example has been modified with a custom straight through X-Pipe exhaust system done by our friends at @Autodromo.ca and a flash tune by @VFEngineering. Honestly, the only thing that dates the gallardo is the matte wrap and the steering wheel. That engine sound is just incredible.
Soooo incredible... but at the end of the day what it did was make me miss the gated v10 R8 haha

I miss the Gallardos. Before I moved back to Japan I was working at Lamborghini N Scottsdale. I hate the fact that the Gallardos were already out of production by then. The Huracans are nice, reliable, and very easy to drive but the Gallardos have that analog violent nature that the Huracans dont.
Oohh I didn't know that, that's cool. Yeah the ultimate is of course still either of the superleggeras, at least as far as violent goes haha!

The LP Gallardos are way better than the earlier ones-and def don’t buy a 2004/2005. The best overall of the bunch is the Super Trofeo Stradale (STS) followed by the 2008 Gallardo Superleggera. That said, the Gallardo are still EPIC. Hunting for STS again. Awesome video. Hope to see you this Summer 👊

Yes! I'll never forget the 2008 Superleggera, especially from the Top Gear best driving road episode. This summer 100%
The older Gallardos with the even fire v10 sound a 100% better but that's the only good thing about them
The manual gallardo 07-08 is the one to go for, it you want to break down regularly then buy this guys E gear

Amazing driving review! I bought a Gialos miades pearl yellow 550-2 RWD 2011 gallardo, it’s awesome, the violent gear shifts, can’t get enough! My car has an afetermarket exhaust, I think it’s straight piped, the sound is very intoxicating
2nd vid i’ve seen of U. Tbh, your channel should get more attention. More views, more subs. I’m pretty picky when it comes down to watching vids and getting entertained while watching them. Usually I be like let’s get str8 to business and show me what I wanna see, and even then i’m not amused. It’s different with this channel/ you bro. I hope this channel grows🔥.

Just from a design standpoint, Lamborghini made their name on sharp looking sharp edge cars like the Diablo and countach, the Gallardo is the last sharp edge looking lambo. It’s just my opinion but I love the sharp edges. All the new lambos look rounded. Gallardo will always have a place in history. Just a fantastic piece of art

Wrong, the pre LP gallardos are liked more because of the high pitched sound of the 5.0 v10, it sounds like a v12 with the right exhaust. The LP models just sounds like a louder R8
totally agree, I have an 07, it sounds so pure, it absolutely screams with violent shifts, raw...

I am Italian and you say Gallardo with the L sound in Italian doubles are just to enhance the sound so they don't change the sound meaning 2 letter L don't sound like J. That's in Spanish...besides that great car and video.
The MK 1 Gallardo superleggera has the best engine note of any gallardo, in my opinion.
Look it up on TH-cam and hear how aggressive it sounds and the cracks that come from it, compared to this.
I think they changed the firing sequence in the later gallardos, so they don’t sound the same.

I'm looking to buy one of these soon so am doing as much research on the E-gears as possible. Manuals seem to be so rare now on the Lp's. The pre-LP's do sound better but just aren't worth the lengthy repair bill it seems.
