Vlog Tournament Master Pong SJC - Playing with anti-spin Dr. Neubauer ABS 2 Evo

Hey Guys, In this video I went to play a championship in São José dos Campos - São Paulo at Master Pong and took the opportunity to test Dr. Neubauer Matador Texa Carbon blade and the anti-spin Dr. Neubauer ABS 2 EVO (2.5mm), I had never played with anti-spin before and I found it really difficult to adapt the long-pips techniques to this anti, however when I mechanically understood how it works, my game improved a lot, obviously with just one training day I will not be able to play the best way possible but I believe I have a huge potential to play with this material. And about the blade, yes it is the best blade I've ever used in my life. Really, my forehand, serve, block, everything was very good, the way I like it, fast and with an excellent feeling.
In this video format I try to show a little more of my routine in a tournament here in Brazil, not just the games. I hope you like this new format because I intend to make this vlog in all the tournaments that I will be playing from now on.

Iae Galera, Nesse vídeo eu fui jogar um campeonato em São José dos Campos - São Paulo na Master Pong e aproveitei para testar a madeira Dr. Neubauer Matador Texa Carbon e a anti-spin Dr. Neubauer ABS 2 EVO (2.5mm), nunca tinha joga do de anti-spin antes e achei realmente muito difícil de adaptar as técnicas de pino longo para essa anti, porém quando entendi mecanicamente como funcionava meu jogo melhorou muito, obviamente em um dia de treino eu não vou conseguir jogar da melhor maneira mas acredito que tenha um potencial enorme jogar com esse material. E sobre a madeira, sim é a melhor madeira que eu já usei na vida. De verdade, meu forehand, saque, bloqueio, tudo ficou muito bom, do jeito que eu gosto, rápido e com um excelente feeling.
Nesse formato de vídeo eu tento mostrar um pouco mais da minha rotina em um torneio aqui no Brasil, não apenas os jogos. Espero que gostem desse novo formato pois pretendo fazer esse vlog em todos os torneios que eu for jogar daqui em diante.

I just ordered this wood and so I can't wait to try it. I am currently using a Juic Neo Anti 1.5mm in backhand and a DHS Skyline Tg3 in forehand. Can't wait to see what it can give on the Matador.

Fala Luis! Sim o Spin tava brincando de Kato hahah e sim essa cinta que eu uso é para os dois na verdade. Tenho dores na lombar pois trabalho o dia todo sentado no computador, mas faco pilates para fortalecer e quando eu jogo eu utilizo para me sentir mais seguro e confortavel. =)

No outro vídeo vc testou a Matador normal. Poderia comentar a diferença entre ela e a Texa Carbon? Qual vc gostou mais? Para pino curto indica qual?
Acabei de postar um vídeo jogando com o pino curto killer pro, da uma conferida. Mas pra mim, basicamente a diferença está no forehand, que a Texa carbon possui uma camada ALC na parte do forehand e eu fico mais confortável, já no back eh praticamente o mesmo feeling na minha opinião.
Oooooh I've been waiting for this the most. I cannot decide on LPs OX vs This exact Anti spin. I really want to know your opinion on the comparison. I haven't played enough but so far I find the anti much more consistent and able to retrieve more/harder shots but the slightly more aggressive shots are better with the LPs. What you think?
Congrats on the win btw! And loved watching your lady play too. It's very difficult to tell if you played better with anti but after just 1 day its incredible you play so well with it

After this tournament, I already played more two small tournaments in different places with the same setup, so a little spoiler here for the next videos haha Right now I'm feeling more comfortable playing with anti, as you will see the evolution of my game in the next videos, playing with Dr. Neubauer anti spins is more difficult than Long Pips, but when you master the technique it is way more difficult for the opponent, and of course I want to learn new techniques! So stay On for the next videos =)

are you planning on playing abs2evo for quite some time or do you still prefer matador with lp ox?
My current setup is Matador Texa Carbon and ABS 2 Evo 2.1mm, I'm planning to use anti for a while now. But I'm not planning on change my blade again. Matador Texa Carbon is very good.

why use EVO but not soft or regular version for ABS2? Any particular reason?
Thanks for the comment, but no, there isn't any particular reason, I only used this material because that was available here for me.

In that video I was playing with fastarc G1 and abs 2 evo, right now I'm using 729 Friendship Battle 2 and Abs 2 Pro

Not sure, it depends by your style and your preference, for me is not to slow but for you it can be.
How is the wear and tear/durability of the ABS 2 evo?
I can't say a lot about that because I'm not practicing too much with thar rubber and I only play weekends so my reference for durability is not quite well, but If you take care correctly by not touching a lot with your hands, don't let the rubber to get any liquids on it, it should last longer.

Not easy at all, especially with you want to play against high level players. But the basics you can master well 💪🏻

In my opinion, ABS 2 Pro is slower, more disruptive effect, more spin reversal, more difficult to play too haha but it is very good

Nope 😂😂 he was trying a new setup just like me. But I played with two short pips against him and I lost. But I didn't recorded. He's one of the best Brazilian players playing in Brazil. 🙏🏻
