    Killer pro I believe is more like medium pips to my knowledge like aggressor. glad to see you win though..What is your impression on Matador Texa Carbon? I use OFF+ to OFF - blades with .3 p1r on but it s hard to block the power loopers. on my backhand. I am coming from using inverted all my life but switched to long pips and been trying to use anti on some and midpips on some blades. Did you ever try anti spin? What s your opinion of that and what blades should be used to utilize the strengths of this rubber. Using Yasaka Antipower for anti, and Aggressor from Dr N for midpips.Thanks

    • @LeonardoArata
      @LeonardoArata  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I always used ALC blades my entire life. When I was younger I started playing with inverted too, then I try short pips, long pips, but my game is too much forehand oriented so I always stick to ALC blades. Of course because of that I lost a lot on my block with long pips, then I found matador Texa carbon, which has the same feeling and speed for
      my forehand and a bit slower and a better feeling for my backhand. If you play with ALC blades and you feel the same as me, I recommend you to try. If you play off+ blades without carbon, I think you can try matador the classic one, which is Mika's blade, it is very good for pips. 💪🏻

    Hey Leo, congrats on your victory , could you please answer my question : I was using Spinlord Dornenglanz ox (similar to Dtecs) and was able to block and return every spinny ball and hold it on table but when I switched to Troublemaker ox to try, I couldn't handle the balls with power topspin. After the block the ball was flying away(even if I tighten my wrist it flies after 2nd ball). Is it suppose to happen because TM ox is more allround than Dtecs like pips?

    • @LeonardoArata
      @LeonardoArata  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Omer thanks for the comment. It is very hard for me to say anything about your technique without seeing any video. But I recommend you to not tighten too much your wrist. Blocking with long pips should be precise. You need to cut the ball, if your block is straight and still not cutting up to down or side to side, you should try anti spin.

    Leo thank you so much for these uploads. This vid was so good, great to watch all these matches. You're very talented to be able to use LPs to Anti to SPs and still succeed. I think you definitely play best with LPs and SPs though, I feel these SPs you might be best with when you train more though

    I think your long pips game is better. You seem to get off the table more with short pips and clearly the opponent has little issue picking up those blocks. Maybe because I want to see more long pip matches. I had a high level young Chinese girl( 2600 ) at my house with her teammate. She played short pips on the backhand.
    She was there for a tournament. She won all matches except against the Nigerian that lives in San Antonio ( ojo- 2650???).
