Bought a Trax. No lack of power. 3 cylinder turbo is plenty for what it is.
Wasn't expecting thìs night review of the Envista. Good job!
I have an Envista with 5000 miles on it. Previous vehicle was a 2020 XLE AWD Rav4. The first thing I will say, is I do not miss the Rav4 much. I have the same features as my Rav (heated seats and steering wheel, Power liftgate ETC.) I am comfortable, plenty of power with less engine noise. The controls are set up better than a Toyota on steering wheel and so forth (I owned Toyotas for the last 17 years). Gas mileage is in the upper 30s(northern Ohio). Finally, I dont miss the back wiper, water just blows off the back at higher speeds. Actually, it might be better not to have the back wiper. In Ohio they use salt on the roads and as you drive the mist builds up on the Rav4 back window. Activate the wiper and all it does is smear the road salt grime. It used to drive me nuts. Toyota cut corners and had no back window washer fluid. Not once this winter have I thought this with the Envista. It has been a great car so far and to be honest I was nervous about buying a GM. So far so good.

As owners did you look into the timing system/engine setup. Cost of repairs at about 60k due to the timing system setup. I’m looking into this car and not really car literate.
@@kmcbride2988 haven't seen anything about it. The belt is supposed to be good to 150k. I have a bumper to bumper 100k warranty with mine. That cost me about 1500
@@kmcbride2988 I am going to be honest, I have never had a car that long. The Rav4 is the longest I have ever owned a car. My cars never have left warranty.

I don't really care about the power plant output as I drive gently. I mostly stay around 70 mph and below 2500 rpm and my new Envista performs amazingly. Owned it for a month now and already put 3000 miles on it.

Nice exterior lighting. Not sure why GM decided to mount the brake lamp/turn signals so low. SMH.
That is the one aspect of the design that really bothers me. It seems illogical and unsafe.
It’s actually apart of a governmental auto tail amp regulation.
Apparently, when someone pulls over for an emergency, the taillights are not visual when the tailgate is raised, potentially leading to an accident.
So GM had to move the lamps down.
@@j-1332 There is a government regulation about that and you are correct, however, you should look at pretty much ever other SUV rear end out there. They have the brake light and turn signal mounted in an upper lamp and they're still visible with the tailgate open. They don't have to put it down in the bumper. That's totally a stylistic choice on Buick's part. Not a good one.
I go pick mine up today. Same color!!!! I traded in my Audi Q5 ha ha. Ya I just said that😂

For 29k , not a bad deal. I paid over 15k more for a Telluride and had to change out the incandescent reverse and license plate lights.

I guess it’s too much to ask for a rear LED turn signals even in the year 2024 what it would cost General Motors an extra 10 bucks per LED to install them in the vehicle? Unacceptable and a Dealbreaker for me

This thing is cheap. But so is the 3 cylinder.
30k used to get you a good car, now all you can get are the trash trax and envista like cars
Buick can't seem to get out of their own way. I think where they got it wrong was the horsepower. They could have bumped that up to 182 horsepower and included LED lighting inside the cabin. They didn't have to go AWD, but it would have been nice to have an option. The horsepower in the lighting is a turn off and that was a vehicle on my radar
dealer ships been selling them as soon as they get them in
Get a lot of compliments on mine. More than any car I've ever owned.
