0:42 Controls are fine (if you have the 6-button controller). There are more levels; they take place in a snow area, and you can meet The Lost Vikings as an easter egg. I like the graphics in the 32X version more, they are pre-rendered sprites, like Donkey Kong Country. I streamed the 32X version not too long ago and beaten it, as well as every US 32X game (36 games total). I hope to get into Guinness World Records for it. I know 2 others that are in Guinness for beating whole libraries for system: The MexicanRunner for beating every NES game and MeridianPrime for beating every N64 game. I gotta ask them how they got accepted; I was originally gonna beat every N64 game, I emailed Guinness how it could be done, they said they themselves don't confirm the record, someone in the video game industry has to do it, then they'd put the record in. So, I gotta find out who in the gaming industry confirmed those 2's record. [I switched to 32X when I found out MeridianPrime got the record.] Anyway, Blackthorne requires patience to beat, gotta take your time.
Great game. You didn't get many SNES games of this quality from Western developers back in 1994. It's perhaps the desert areas that have the most memorable level design, but the whole game is very well thought out. It's really satisfying to see the password pop up in those later levels. Gets really brutal in the final castle.
I am curious: did Duo all those stream edits from streams that you archived on TH-cam or does he also do them from streams that were not uploaded to YT? Been trying to find the stream where you played Dark Castle on Sega Genesis of which there is a rage compilation of you but no luck so far.
Cannot get enough of those rage compilation 😁, if you have access to some "herbal remedies" take some of that late at night, start a mike rage and get ready to laugh yourself so hard your gonna have abs the next day. 🤓
5:26 😂 You should be on stage like Gallagher except your a performing video game artist that breaks sh¡t and flips out organically on stage. 😆 Singing away the MaDnEsS¡!
If you're gonna kill the Fabios, you gotta go for style points with a no-look one-handed shotgun blast. I used to play with my younger brother watching, walk past a chained up Fabio and pause. "Don't do it", my brother would say. Sometimes I did, sometimes I didn't.
I remember seeing the advertisement for this in Gamepro / EGN as a kid and wanted to play it but never did. Surprisingly high framerate for a SNES game too. Pretty much a Prince of Persia revamp/clone.
I love this game! It was made by the remanants of psygnosis who made some really beautiful Amiga games. And just like their Amiga games...it was beautiful and clunky as fuck.
This game doesn't look half bad tho. Looks hard but also patience will be rewarded. I'm going to give this game a shot. Id love to upload it but I would be playing a emulator. Can't risk it.
Just taking the time to thank your editor for putting together all of these compilations for us and quick too. We all freakin appreciate it lol.
6:59 “Do you believe it’s not butter…FUUUUCCCCCKKKKK!!!” 😂😂😂
I F’n love these rage compilations! Keep ‘em coming Mike!

Zesty boys
Even more rage compilations so soon? Awesome! One of my favorite things to watch!
@silverwings
i have a 6 button controller. I dont remember if I used it for this stream.
If you beat every 32x game, which was the most painful?
It helps if you remember not to fall to your death.

You are so high if you think Mike's reading all of this.
I would try to catch one of those dudes live streams and do a super chat and force them to answer if they won't respond to emails or anything.
@@chrislevack405 he does read the comments actually
Mike, right out of the gate you're fucking hilarious as always
Pro gamer tip. Avoid falling into death pits.
Good tip. Me would do that but me dumb
Good tip. Me would do that but me dumb
"The more you mention it, the more I won't try it." Don't change, Mike! 😂😂😂

You won't get very far sprinting into each new room in this game lol, it ain't super mario world
Pretty sure this is a Mario game bro. I can prove. Mario games have enemies. This game has enemies.
@@mikematei Always love the videos mike, keep it up, whether it's a Mario game or The Flowers of Robert Mapplethorpe

😂11:00 Mikes gone Full Wii-Todd!!
Sounds like Edward Nortons fake ReeTarded character in “The Score 2001.”
the animation of him pulling the shotgun off his back looks great.
"When I say jump, YOU JUMP!" Haha
Best part is when he rages
Mike plays every game like it's Super Metroid, run n gun!
I remember watching this live. It would be an absolute joy to see you beat this. For me, of course lol.

The more I look at this game's box, the more I feel like it's "Black Horne"
"That last step is a DoOsY!"

Wow whoever did the boxart for this game must be the same person who did the boxart for Breath of Fire 1 and 2 on SNES. They're like the same thing 😅
Never liked this game. Never really played it too much, and I can see why. Your screaming solidified my decision about this game. 😂😂😂
Mike go live, I miss my friends in your drunk chat
Youre not gonna give up that easily right mike?😂
13:14 🎼Im a musician and i swear ta god your emotional range gives me song ideas.
From soft to loud to wild to calm etc. Motha Fuckin Mike! 🤙

For some reason my old copy of this game for DOS didn't work in DOSBox so I had to get the SNES version.
This game is fuckin brutal lol
7:01
Wow no blood on the SNES version, what a joke. Great vid mike
long time, no see. Been about 15 years lol
I remember seeing the advertisement for this in Gamepro / EGN as a kid and wanted to play it but never did. Surprisingly high framerate for a SNES game too. Pretty much a Prince of Persia revamp/clone.
Ahhhhh, i always wanted to play this,
❤ more of these rage videos
This music sounds like the terminators music from the game.
Is there anyway you can put this whole stream up if you did beat it?
Thought the cover art style looked familiar and it turns out it was done by Jim Lee
I have this game and it's good but it takes a lot of trial and error. Cool video Mike!👉😃👈
DOS version still the best
The game is almost Like Abe's Odd World.
I had this game for the 32X!!!
I cannot believe it is not the butter 👱♀️
This game is literally Prince of Persia. I need to try it.
that i can't believe it's not butter stuff was disgusting. could spackle drywall with that stuff.

i didnt beat it. i got to the second or maybe third world. i forget
@@mikematei i see, thanks for the reply
Brown will use that face. Lol.
13:32 hahaha.
So was it butter or not?
I love this game! It was made by the remanants of psygnosis who made some really beautiful Amiga games. And just like their Amiga games...it was beautiful and clunky as fuck.
They need to upgrade this game, symphony of the night style...if that makes sense

You should try the dreamcast version😢
Yo Mikey!
In these rage stream s
Wouldn't have been the wrong button again if you were playing it on the 32X and using a Genesis controller. Just saying 😅
You should play the 32X version, it has more levels and better graphics
wow fairly graphic game.
Cool 👏🏾😆
U a trrue gangster mike
This game looks terrible lol
