I'm not really into game streaming but I like Mike's mainly because I usually end up finding out about something I've never heard of but would want to/end up playing. the other thing is his streams, particularly when I watch these rage comps, remind me of my teen and early 20s years crammed in a friends basement with a couple of cases of beer and we'd just play games all night. somebody would always be that guy, the dude who is screaming, yelling, and beating the shit out of the couch cushion but eventually (probably due to the anger propelling them) would beat the game or the stage or whatever the goal was. reminds me of those days waking up on a couch to find some dude is still up trying to kick a boss' ass hours later or being that dude when everyone else was waking up lol
Mike Matei is my favorite livestreamer, the hilarity of his commentary and rage aside, he always shows off interesting games that nobody else would talk about like this game and Galacticon.
Well, I can definitely say that because of your streams, I was convinced not only to purchase this game but also Galacticon and Murtop. Of those three, I think I like Donut Dodo the most. Rewatching this compilation reminded me of the many times I reset the game because I just did not want to die once on the first stage (and preferably not twice on stages 2 and 3). It also reminded me that I took a different approach than you in the following regard: I always made sure to collect the fruit before finishing a stage because the next higher fruit (or food item) always nets more points (until you get the burger which is 25,000 points). It was not a case of beating the high score but since every 15,000 points you get an extra life, collecting fruits helped me to get to the last stage (1-5 or 2-5) with four lives (or sometimes even five lives) at least. I definitely needed those because I was consistently terrible at that stage (so kudos to you for doing this with two lives). Bought it this year so I think my version is different in that I don't have that fourth selection (Weekly Rnd or something). Guess they got rid of that somewhere down the line?

Game is so good I bought it twice...once on PC where it originally launched and then again on Switch. It has eaten up almost all of my work breaks for a month. It is *so* satisfying once you get to the point where you can make the lives counter cut through the "hi score" text. The only real issue with it is that there is no endless mode, although I'd also gladly take a mode that's four loops and goes through easy to hard.
MFM, heh, I like how MotherFucker Mike, introduced in "Crossfire" episode of Board James, still lives to this day and kickin ass more than ever, even after the events in board games series... Mike Matei such a fun dude to watch, never change man, lovin' all the new content and these rage compilations are really funny!
I don't know, the "Actually" guy and someone who doesn't understand why you'd play a game more than once sound pretty different. An "Actually" guy sounds like someone who would 100% a game more than 20 freaking times.
