with the Savage Mode album, Metro kept it simple, but not boringly simple, he just added simple things and some extras yet it was so fire. maybe its just not my taste, but i felt this was strong but weakened as it had more instruments.
Damnnn Nick, back at it again with the tuts mannn!!! Internet Money been killing everything lately. I swear, all this learning making me grind even harder to one day earn me a spot.
I thought Nick was one-dimensional so I fell back from his tutorials but this one HERE has gained all of my respect! I see why he's the goat of internet Money him & E-Trou are the hardest in their camp 💪🏿
These tutorials are worth their weight in gold to someone starting off like me. I was watching BWB to learn the basics, but after a few days I realized like wtf this dudes beats always turn out bad and it was just misleading asf if you wanted to make a good beat. This shit is perfect, thank you Internet Money team
Boys said I was weird a few years ago for starting my 808's an octave higher then bringing them down later once I had the whole pattern planned out. They don't know tho lol, Appreciate the tut man. This was a good one.
When I make my beats I like to have way too many little percs and then when I split the channels I have a ton of percs (usually like 10-15) that can come in and out of the beat to help keep it fresh but since they're just small background percs (shakers, sticks, random foleys, rims, chimes, beeps, etc) they don't get distracting and there's only a couple at a time in the beat
Ik so happy I found your channel lol never seen it before but your style is the type of style I like n I wanna get better in these other beat tutorial channels have sucha corny generic approach compared to yours
I don't condone or advise anything here but if u going to college then why not trap out the bandwidth U having major debt anyways that u pay back when u get ur degree. When u famous u can pay the vst people some cash.... Southside actually still has a cracked Nexus and FL Studio and that nigga charge 35K for a beat
what do you suggest I do if I don't own any of the vsts like omnisphere. kontakt, nexus, etc. I would totally purchase them if I had the money. But as of right now, I don't and my beats sound nothing like these, kind of psyching me out
Hey at around 4:08 how did you find out how to make like a melody with your 808's like that? like to decorate to say, by bringing them up to different pitches and making them sound good and also what do you use to know how to make a kind of complex melody like that for the lead? all i needa knowwww.
Major props for taking the time to show this. 2 quick questions: @ 6:20 which key command did you use to take that 1/4 beat and split it into 4? Also, your 808, is that the FL studio built-in 808 kick? it just has an 808 label, doesnt say whether its a kick or perhaps bass or something different.
how did you control the velocity with one click? you lowered all of them instantly. and when you copy your notes there automatically on tune. usually when hit CTR B it just paste them but not on beat have t drag them.. help!
Can i change Minor Keys in a Beat, like going from A Minor to B Minor for changing the Mood in the Track. For ex. to make the Hook a lil more interinsting
Let me know what you liked about this video! What next?
Nick Mira I think a Tory lanez type beat like litty or real addresses or maybe a chord progression tutorial would be dope

Not even my style of beats but always learning from the workflow. Great tuts!
It was an actual Metro Boomin / 21 Savage beat before all the orchestra instruments were added to be honest haha
Yeah it started out pretty fire but he added to much imo, sometimes less is more simplicity is better than overkill
slim shady idk i haven't watched them all yet but thats true sometimes less is more
with the Savage Mode album, Metro kept it simple, but not boringly simple, he just added simple things and some extras yet it was so fire. maybe its just not my taste, but i felt this was strong but weakened as it had more instruments.
