the shazam is cool and love that for verification. but i theorize that only certain songs he can do that with; ones that have an long enough open instrumental section like intro, break, post chorus, outro, etc of some kind. otherwise shazam might not recognize a song if played instrumental only ➖that typically has vocals/words playing at that point in time (since hes never plays it with the vocals). the two songs ive seen him do this with both had open instrumental sections. that he chose to play so it can be a dead on match for shazam AI. in this original song the intro plays music only. so it might not work for songs without open sections.
