Love how Aiden explains the reason & theory behind all the techniques, it's what makes his remake videos so valuable. Always learned so much from these breakdowns! 💯
A fun fact: As a Brazillian Portuguese speaker I can confirm this sample is in fact related to the song. The line that keeps repeating in reverse throughout the whole song "Adeus" translates to "Goodbye" in english. This only shows how much of a musical genius 21 savage is, considering that "redrum" is literally "murder" written backwards. "Goodbye" and "Murder" are both inserted into the song in reversed forms and are related words. This was such a smart move!
@@bfusesrate9077 serenata do Adeus by the Brazilian singer Elza Laranjeira, her voice feels kinda weird or scary in the instrumental because they changed the pitch a little bit for the sample.
You're teaching more music theory and doing it better than 99% of these guys who claim to know it and "teach" you with all their flashy terms and shit. Absolutely unmatched video quality and value. 😈
This is really the best music channel on yt imo. It's not just making a remake it's explaning, learning and getting behind those idead that are in artist heads.
dope fucking ad read, its amazing when a creator gets to do a sponsorship with something they clearly endorse and you seem super jazzed about the fact you're levelling up your piano skills and it was the sponsor that helped. very rare to get such a good ad read, haven't even gotten into the video yet. makes me wanna learn now
the shazam is cool and love that for verification. but i theorize that only certain songs he can do that with; ones that have an long enough open instrumental section like intro, break, post chorus, outro, etc of some kind. otherwise shazam might not recognize a song if played instrumental only ➖that typically has vocals/words playing at that point in time (since hes never plays it with the vocals). the two songs ive seen him do this with both had open instrumental sections. that he chose to play so it can be a dead on match for shazam AI. in this original song the intro plays music only. so it might not work for songs without open sections.
I like how you explained where the beat takes you and what you see in your imagination when you hear it, I think you should start including that in your videos
My music teacher used to play your videos for us in our classroom, we made beats all of us on Logic Pro X, and thanks for all your videos brotha (mostly Logic Pro X, but we also knew FL)
Thats exactly how I pictures the music video would be for this song. How you described it I know 21 be wearing the suits and stuff he look like a business on business mob boss. A savage in a sense
how are you finding the exact instruments being used on these songs and being able to compare the waveforms like that? is it some sort of isolating software, or do you just have the original stems from the songs that you recreate and thats how you do your comparisons? cause i have no idea how youre lining up samples like that. if it was a full song obviously the waveforms going to not show that. thanks
as an ACTUAL piano player I feel wounded from you saying that reading sheet music, learning musical theory and having s teacher is not necessary. It's like trying to solve an equation without knowing how to do arithmetics. You may be able to simplify but the result won't be correct. A major part of music is interpretation and without any of this technical knowledge (or motor skills because you don't even know how to sit down) the result will always be mediocre. My teacher likes to say that many people say they can play the piano, but all they know how to do is press keys in s keyboard. Playing piano takes dedication and a minimum of 5 years of daily, long practice.
Totally Awesome, I tried to remake it myself I got the sample part right but when It comes to drums, could you tell me where do I find the exact samples, I mean now I know which samples are those but where to get them?
May you please do a remake video for an old school Hip-Hop track? I've been wondering; how was the sound of Hip-Hop & Rap during the 80s, 90s & '00s conceived and who were the masterminds behind it all?
hey so after you make the looped piece of the 808, are you then playing that looped piece of the original 808 *only* ? or are you still playing original 808 and adding the looped sustained piece to the end of it for more sustain till it runs into the next note in the pattern? thanks a bunch
NEXT UP REMAKES CARNIVAL, 90210 AND SKITZO!
