Amazing explanation! The best video I’ve ever seen. Detailed oriented and very informative and simply explained. I’m amazed. You Sir are very smart and a great teacher
Thx for your E90/E80 wiring vids. You and others, but mostly you have lightened the burden of wiring the LS swaps into these chassis. This isnt a complaint but only a suggestion. If you wanna keep making these swaps and be ahead of the competition, how much have you thought about being the first to popularise the F30, F80, and G20 LS/LT swaps. These cars are not as cheap as the E90's yet, but their prices are coming down; especially those that are mechanically totalled.., something to think about ;)
Love the video(s)! Where does the green wire on the main harness go? And for an auto does pin one (blue/black) need tied into the brake light(blue/red) /gray tran wire? And also for the automatic do the red and blue/red need to be connected to red and blue/red for tran can? I didn’t see that in the video but it’s on the website, maybe I missed it.
We have found it's better to use the 3rd brake light wire out of the frm for the transmission grey wire. Green wire on the main harness can be used to trigger a fuel pump relay if your rewire/delete the ekp
Bro with the quick response! So green can be unused if I’m running n/an and stock pumps? And gray tran to Blue/red like the video shows? What about the red/blue to red/blue pt can? I’m close to done wiring but feel stuck/confused
@@stevebobj red and blue or can pair to the can box wiring. Don't use the blue red for the grey brake wire. It causes issues. Use the 3rd brake light wire out of the frm
I did this proceedure today. Three of the wires going by the color were off by one number where it was pinned. I chose to go by the color rather than the pin location. I hope that is right.
What’s your year and model? There have been instances where some chassis have things slightly diff but typically if you stick with the colors you should be ok.
Great stuff. Thx for taking the time to make your videos! Now that I've been politically correct and mindful of your "feelings".., we need the A/C video and another FAQ video ;)
stumbled on your video's while researching 335i swaps. Outstanding info, thank you. I've found a 2008 auto car with a bad motor but otherwise in terrific condition. Is using the stock BMW automatic over a T56 a good idea? I like the idea of reduced costs so I can put more money into a LS3.
We’ll be going over the build specs as we do more videos on the 1, but currently it’s a stock diff, stock bottom end 6.0, with a built 4l80e and circle d converter
You need to utilize the stock wiring off the trans and do some wire splicing, if you join the Facebook group there are several guys who wired the GS6 to work, it’s different than the T56 wiring.
If you want to just run the engine you could, but you’ll have no way to configure anything to work with the BMW chassis like factory, plus by the time you spend the hours to modify the stock harness, buy a wideband, buy a boost controller if you’re going boosted, buy hp tuners so you can log it and make adjustments, and then pay for a tune, you could have just bought the Holley like we tell you to.
@@lse90garage I was talking about a simple DBW/auto harness. And it would be for a N/a build. Also have all the access to hp tuners. The harness seems to come off with all the same lead/unterminated wires.
This content is so damn good! I can’t wait to move forward with my swap again
The 135 is turbo at about 300hp & 300 ft/lb torque while the 128 is naturally aspirated around 230hp
Can’t wait for the next video. Keep banging them out.
Hell yeah! This is gonna be a lot of help with my next project. You, sir, are a lifesaver!

You are a blessing my dude
just started my 3 series this is the one i needed haha amazing thank you.
Happy to help!
Nice Job, detailed and clean. So easy a computer illiterate old man can do it........up to the tuning portion. Lol one step at a time.

Awesome video!! It is so helpful.
Keep posting these videos. When you going to do an m3 engine mount kit.
When someone gives us an M3 chassis to work with 😂
We need one for the 5 series that’s the one everyone wants
What’s covered in the video is identical for the 5 series. We’ve mentioned that several times.
Sweet! Exactly what I was hoping for. Picked up a 07 525i wanna swap
Is this the same as the 128i n52
Yes
Does the can box work with the 128i wiring
@@jeremyt2736 yes it’s the exact same as the 328
Awesome huge help if you don't mind can you send me a link to the part please

I wonder if this is smog legal in ca
Hey! How are you triggering reverse in former automatic cars?

Stock bmw auto is trash, T56 far superior for the tq
What about the E60 5 Series? Has it been worked on before?
We have completed one, the wiring is very similar.
Do you guys have videos for an automatic e60 wiring?
is it possible to retain the traction control?
Do you have a build thread for the 1 series? Like the trans/motor combo and if you used the stock diff. Thanks again!

Is this a 128 or 135? Is there differences with the two?
Does it have to be the 6.0ls? Or could I use a 5.3?
Any LS works, 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2, LS7, LS9, 454 LSX, C5R block, dart block, doesn’t matter, they’re all the same physically.
how do i get reverse lights if i have the manual bmw trans with an adapter to the ls
Was your car originally a manual?
@@lse90garage yea :)

Is the pin out different for a 2011 n55 e90?
Those this all work with the 135i n55 engine ?
The n55 wiring is slightly different but yes it will work
Do you have to use a Holley setup or could you use a factory ecu setup

@@RickyLefleur as we said above, you can do it, but the car won’t know it’s there and you’ll have no gauge setup or a/c control.
Lol stock ecu gtfo
