- Howdy Folks! We found ourselves with some pigs that made an 11 hour trip here from Georgia a couple months back and I finally gathered up the couple items I needed to build them a clear water on demand watering system using a barrel, some metal pig nipples, and a couple blocks and some tie down straps. My total cost on this build is Used Plastic Food Barrel $14, Nipples $16, Tie Down Straps $4 and blocks were free. Total cost of materials was $34 and it took me about 1/2 hour of my time. I wish I had done this back when we first got them!

We use those around here for different feeds. Keeps it dry and they are scent proof so critters leave them alone!

Now u need put something over the Waterboro so keep it cool because when gets hot the heat makes the water get hot inside and u making the pigs getting out of the sun and u need make a wet spot for the pigs play in the mud keep cool to
