I came over here at the recommendation of Hoss Tools. Glad I did! Enjoy your channel. I remember as a kid when the cows came up from pasture, we had to water them in a huge galvanized tub. When we turned the water on for the cows, we couldn't use the water in the house 😆 That was in the good old days. Oh! And then we had to milk the cows. Loved it! Wouldn't have wanted to live any other way

Hi Adler farms, I've been using that waterer in d Phil's since 1994, but when d pig's will age to 5 or 6 months they are already strong & keep wallowing d drinker, so bcoz that noozle s also expensive n my country ( Phil's) ,I just use the big half old tires from big trucks & hose water into 8, after they finish eating, I am now living n Australia but my piggery s going till now coz I have people working there for me, it's only a backyard livelihood compose of 4 Mother pig's & a boar , I sell piglets 45 days old & what s left , I let them grow as fattening like 5 to 6 months old then sell thank you for the information about the feeder, hassle free, I do that when I can go home to Phil's, I'm still n Australia today, cannot go home bcoz of d covid19 pandemic & stormy weather too.

I enjoy seeing your pigs and cows. Hope you can get your kids to help out more haha. It'll be good for them. I think with the current pandemic going on there will be a lot of interest in small scale food growing experience, especially in video form.

Try some biomectin on the pigs itll slow down the scratching i did it to mine they rarely scratch plus teflon tape will work a treat on the thread

Indeed they are. Some of their itchiness may be related to mites which they’ve been treated for before this was filmed and after. Happens a lot especially when they’re purchased from a large farm like we did. Very common though and easily treatable. That’s why they love a good wallow to take a swim in too though. 👍🏻
