I'm not the biggest fan of Eddy, but seeing the reaction all the fans of him I'm happy they have their favorite character back. I do wish Christie would come back, however these people are not helping. As big of fan I am of her Eddy is the more popular choice to go with and his story isn't done yet. This is not the way to get what you would want in a fighting game guys.

I think with Christie, her story kind of came to a halt when her grandad died and she was able to reach out to Eddy. If they bring her back, she'll need something to give them a reason to bring her back. Eddy carries more weight behind him as a legacy character compared to her.

That one Brazilian Katarina. I only agree in terms of diversity and I'm not talking necessarily on "Racial" diversity but there needs to be a different look diversity that tekken generally suffers from. In terms of that I think Sf6 had nailed it on character diversity especially on the females. And I'm not a Christie fan I'd like to see some battle hardened women enter tekken 8. I can see where the person writing that letter was going speaking about variations of Capoeira. There are 2 distinct ones: Capoeira Angola and Capoeira Regional. Angola's is the root style that started the art and is purely ground base. The practitioners constatly stay ducked low to the ground and only rarely stand up for certain repositionings. Regional incorporated the Jinga and the aerial accrobatics when a Maestre (Berimbao if I'm not mistaken) branched off some years later after convincing the governement of Brazil to lift the ban on Capoeira. They are very different. Angola's pace is very slow. Even the music is played on a very slow tempo, whereas Regional is the version we know and see out today. The cadence is faster. I don't know where they would find a mo cap actor to perform Angola though. The practitioners of that branch gate keep it hard, so it is not as widespread as Regional. I do recall that there has been a push to combine both styles in the recent years, but it has yet to take off. As I said, the Angola folks are hardcore traditionalists. I'd love to see some Capoeira Angola in Tekken though. Sounds to me like he may be asking Harada to bring Christie back as a Regional contender, and maybe have Eddy decide to switch to the root version of Angola. I can't see however how they could fit that change in the plot, or the latter's slow dynamics into the fast pace mechanics of the game. Harada's team would have to get extra creative to make that work for sure!
Keep in mind that these Christie Stans are guys in their 30s, because that character's apperance was in 2002. Really says something about the male loneliness epidemic that no one cares about

It’s not as bad as you might think. Christie was last in a TEKKEN game in Tag 2. If TEKKEN 8 lasts for let’s say 3-5 years, that’s that’s at least 15 YEARS where a character is ABSENT from a game. It does not help that Eddy’s story was unimportant in T7 AND Lucky Chloe not being in the game is them almost shelving the Character at this point. Christie is due for a redesign, just like Kuni got but here’s Eddy again. Bamco dropped the ball on this one if you ask me.
