    #2 Ah, the dreaded Golf cart. The bane of my existence in Pawleys Island. Children as young as 11-12 driving them in traffic. Illegally crossing divided, 5-6 highways to go to the beach. Golf carts with entire families of literally 6-8 people hanging off every square inch. And the drivers usually have a can of beer in their hand, thinking that since it's an electric vehicle, it can't be THAT dangerous. Sure, most everyone has one. But just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD. Golf carts belong on the golf course.

      I saw one the other day driving up 48th Ave in MB. It had 8 people on a rental cart from down in Myrtle Probably around 10th Ave would be my guess. Those carts aren't made to do 20-30 miles of driving, and most have a top speed of like 17MPH!

Knew we were going to move here kept looking for property over 20 years wanted to live in a particular area Arcadia sure well finally found our dream home moved in 2015 from Jersey and I absolutely love it. I even love the tourists in the summer it makes everything so lively I love every part of the year maybe not so much December and January which sometimes can be cold but you’re never freezing living here was a dream come true when people say I’m happier at the beach the beach is my happy place I will say I agree I try to go to the beach every day

    Hi Jeremy. My family and I are moving to NMB in mid June from Long Island NY. Tired of the cold long winters and owning a SFR. We've been vacationing in MB for many years and it's been a dream of my wife and me to retire there so we pulled the trigger. We'll be living at the Barefoot Resort in an 11th flr unit in the North Tower that we're closing on in May. Can't wait to get there and start another chapter in our lives. Any advice on key things to know about in the resort and in NMB would be greatly appreciated. Love the videos. Keep'em coming.

    Is it possible to live on the beach and not be surrounded by AirBNB rentals? We'd really like a condo because we don't want to have to worry about house and lawn care but we still want to be able to see and hear the ocean. I think we have to pay a gazillion dollars or live surrounded by transients. Any suggestions?

    • @jeremyblanton
      @jeremyblanton  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a few oceanfront buildings that are not filled with rentals all around you. I just sold one to a client that bought a 2BR/2BA unit where they can see & hear the beach for right around $550K. There are a few other options, but most of the places where the you don't have a lot of rentals are going to be priced higher.
