    Thumbs up. We plan on getting a small house-cabin near Conway so we can drive to the beach during the weekdays & hae dinners at off-peak times. How about info for retired folks, small house on a few acres, chicken coop, hospitals, urgent cares, intown family friendly resturants, wheres the flood zones, high ground properties, affordable living for a old couple in a little house. Thanks, see ya in 4 years when I retire after 30yrs of service.

    My beef with the traffic is that it's too heavy to get anywhere in the summer in a timely manner, but then in the off season, while the number of cars on the road is half what it is in the summer, they ALL DRIVE 35 MPH IN THE DAMNED PASSING LANE. It's utterly maddening! Stay out of the left lane if you're going to drive like a 90 year old

      But you still come out ahead on all of the other lower taxes/fees.

    Oh my, when talking about best pizza, I always say Kings Famous Pizza. Discovered it when I stayed in NMB when I came from Vegas looking to buy and retire. No one knows of it, even those who've lived here for years. Btw, I ended up in the Socastee, Surfside and Murrell's Inlet area and so happy I did. Just have to travel to get my pizza. 😢 Thank you for the validation 😂

    NMB has everything and is upscale. You can always get to Briarcliffe Beach during Low Tide when it creates a landbridge over Ocean Creek. Be sure to get back before the tide comes heading in. NMB always gets hit with flooding in Cherry Grove whenever it storms hard. Traffic is really only bad during Memorial Day Weekend Bike Week. 17 is definetly better than 501! I would say that 501 is like being stuck on the LIE in NYC! I live at Barefoot. It's very quiet. But there are only 2 ways out of the compound: out back thru Watertower Road or across the Swing Bridge that backs up traffic whenever it has to open for a Sailboat. All of Horry County needs to improve infrastructure.

    Footage of the areas that you’re talking about would make this more interesting.

    That's pretty interesting about D.R. Horton's steel rods... when did they start doing that?

    • @jeremyblanton
      @jeremyblanton  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have done that for many years now... Not sure when they started, but I know homes built in 2014 already had this.

    Jeremy, I'm a chemical plant operator. Been looking for any factory/maintenance jobs in the area that pay somewhat close to what I make in the mid ohio valley. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @jeremyblanton
      @jeremyblanton  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately we do not have a ton of factories or plant type jobs down here in this area. I wish we did! Most of those type of jobs will more than likely be more inland towards Florence area.
