MLB's biggest insider connects Cleveland Guardians to All-Star SS Bo Bichette in trade rumors

- It was just last week thatthe Cleveland Guardianswere ranked in the top five landing spots for Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette. What was once just a projection appearing in a list on Bleacher Reportappearsto be gaining some traction, as ESPN's Jeff Passan has linked Cleveland and Bichette.
Passan states that the Guardians appear to be a team ready to buy at the deadline, noting that there may not be a better fit than Bichette in Cleveland. It is hard to argue with that belief, considering the lackluster offensive output the Guardians have received from Gabriel Arias and Brayan Rocchio this season. One of these two was expected to at least provide average offense while in the batter's box, but both have been unable to do so. Finding a way to upgrade what has been a forgettable season from these two would go a long way for the Guardians' postseason hopes | awaybackgone.com/posts/bo-bic...

We definitely need at least 2 starting pitchers, our #1 bullpen wont last forever
I agree.
Offense is fine we need SP desperately.
Giving up for Bichett? Side fun fact...Deyveson de los Santos triple A..ba 356 /15 hrs...we kept Florial, Laureano and Arias instead...scandalous
I think we should trade the farm to Miami for Jesus and jazz. Put jazz back at shortstop
I’d rather have Bo
Can someone tell my why we'd want to mess with the chemistry this amazing team has?
because this team will get smoked by the yanks in the playoffs... would like to win a world series instead of getting bounced by the yanks and hear what a great run organization this is
Starting pitching is ass and always need more power. Good teams are worth spending on to make great teams
@@jarren32 well said, we don't want to lose in the playoffs to the yanks, look back, and see that we did nothing to improve this team because the owner is too cheap. someone posted that we could add $15M to the payroll and still be the 3rd in payroll in this division.
Lol c'mon man. You cant possibly think this team is good enough to make a run.
We need pitching and hitting help. Bad.
You don't make a playoff run with Arias and Hedges playing everyday. Esp when Naylor and Giminez arent doing shit at the plate either.
Go get taylor ward and Luis rengifro from LA both play mult positions they combined make under 5 mill should cost the farm prospect wise
I hope Bo Bichette and Vladdy sign long-term contracts with Toronto Blue Jay's
Nothing the Cleveland teams do no one is happy, the Guardians are twenty games over 500 but no one is happy that we've been first in the central for months what else do they want from an underrated team that no matter what they do how far they go no one is satisfied, stop cursing these teams with your expectations when they're doing the best they can
Because if the owner spent money on the team instead of donating 10s of millions to politicians they could be legit contenders. You have the same attitude cavs Homer's had all year and now you see they weren't even close to contending.
@@JoeNotit I love every Cleveland team win or lose but it seems like everytime they win no one is happy but when they lose much joy Cleveland will be Cleveland everyone in the city seem to love when the media humiliates and laugh at Cleveland teams and I'm tired of the BS
@@kevinrenode7350 I get what you're saying. I am proud of the team, players, coaches and front office. I just hate seeing how good this team could be with a reasonable payroll especially with Jose taking such a huge discount.
Trade deadline is a while away. Let Schneeman pay and see what he can do. THen decide if a trade wil lbe beneficial.
Nope, my sources tell me that The Mets will eat half of Lindors money and send him back to Cleveland for a top 10 prospect!
😢we need starting pitching and one more power hitter
I dont think the jays would do a deal in the AL, it's more realistic we trade with a team in the NL like the mets who are done in the division and have pending free agents
Your forgetting who our gm is
@@kidpoker9408 We got a new minority owner David Blizter, i think with the pace were on they need to go all in and use some of the influx of capital we gotten since 2020
Nope...No joy in "Mudville"the mighty Dolans is a tightwad...Next owner PLEASE
So I can watch The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants again episodes 1,2,3,4 and 5 just like the Playstation 1,2,3,4 and 5.
I've been saying it for a while now... I'm seeing humerus that should have been caught in the outfield. 🤷 I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. I grew up watching the steroid era. I never know what's real or not real.
You gonna need more than that to beat my Yankees
Yanks arent going anywhere with sotos defense
Move Fry to SS....lol
Bo needs to go to the same restaraunts vladdy goes to
Bo needs to spend a month in AAA.
Bull do you realize this is TV?
Dude has completely let himself go. Just a total tub of goo.
As a jays fan I want Bo traded, he has no hustle, a bad attitude and couldn’t hit the floor if he was falling.
What are you talking about? The guy has the most hits for a couple of years. Fire the hitting coach, and let's get someone else giving these guys advice.
@@brianpavlidis1833 Bo never had the most hits in a season. He has also been on a decline since his best year 2021. Trade him while he still has the league fooled.
@brianjohnston5221 2021 and 2022, most hits in AL. 3rd in 2023. Check the facts. He is off this year for sure. You don't sell on a low if you decide to sell.
Issue is not Bo, or Vlady, issue is Springer, sad to say KK, and Biggio/Kirk. Not sure about Turner..
Real problem, Atkins doing nothing...
@@brianpavlidis1833 Looks like I knew the facts already and you needed to amend your original statement to say the American League.
I agree fire the hitting coach and Mattingly too
Bring Bauer back!!!
It would hurt us. His vibes are horrible and our clubhouse is currently being powered by friendship.
@@noneya622 Yet, Josie loves him.
Nothing to lose. It would cost NO prospects and he already said he'd play for the ML minimum. Also, him and JRam are buddies that hang out together in the offseason.
Bauer has humbled himself. Teammates that produce and help win tend to be popular in the clubhouse.
Dude I’ve been screaming this. He’s been vindicated and can still pitch
The answer to the Short Stop is to grab the Sox's former 4th over all pick Nick Madrigal from the Cubs.
He's been optioned down because they can't get him regular playing time and his hitting has suffered for it. That and a hurt hand make him a cheap get for proven talent.
The fact that he was a Short Stop in High School that transitioned to an MLB caliber Second Baseman in College and has been playing Third Base just to get time on the field for the Cubs shows how versatile and driven he is.
Get Nick on the cheap, bring him up when his hand is healed and given him 20 games. I don't see him doing any worse than what the Guard's have had all season.
