    White color is really enjoyable on this car. I mean ... it's very cute ! Very cute ! But maybe that's just my opinion .

    I have had the joy to work on one of these. There actually not to bad to access once you move a few thing's. I do like them I know where there is an unloved P reg one. Think you did the car justes with the review and I would love to own one maybe one day. I have had a Mx5 it was rusty but great fun to drive though lol. Beer and Pies always good 🍻👍

    bought my BRG F in 2004, 50K miles now Summer use only...always say I am going to sell but never can do it especially as it's only worth around £2K and costs £80pa to insure...a very underrated drivers car that in the dry can be pushed on B road blats. Had a TF Sprint for 6yrs too but sold that for space for an MR2.

    Completely bonkers review and story, but also completely right! I have a 1995 non-VVC, had it eight years, and absolutely love it.. and I’ve only got one child so it even works as a family car 😜

      I just bought a 1998 mgf. Love her but as i live at the bottom of nz i'm dreading the maintenance costs
      But i 100% agree with your review.
      Ive had covid, pleurisy, covid, shingles. Im buggered if I 'm buying a nissan micra...lifes too short.
      The last loan payment occurrs on my 60th birthday. But i'm driving millie way into my 90's!

    Great cars. Got 200,000 kms on my MG TF115 with no issues (other than the usual replacement of head gaskets at 60,000 kms). Nippy and fun.

    Great review, I am slowly growing to love my MGF, but it's not the best example but hey I won it in a raffle, but when you open her up it is a hoot to drive. Maybe I need to try a better example or wait till my pal services it and improves it.

    You don't look like your voice, you look like you should have a rugged American or Australian accent lol. Great video btw.

    Nice video. I really fancy one but just discovered that they are £315 to tax! That's steep for a cheap little car.

      Hi Richard, the tax on my 1.8vvc was £275 but has just gone up to £299 but as they are pretty cheap to buy and economical it's not that much in the grand scheme of things. I use it everyday and love it.

    If you lived closer, you could have had a go in my Chinese TF135 to compare beginning and end of the model. I’ve driven an F as well and I think the Chinese ones captured the feel of the F that the firmer MGR TFs sort of lost. The LE500 suspension is very user-friendly!

    • @CynicalLemonade
      @CynicalLemonade 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Aaron-tf3iv No, mines one of the TF135s that came after the LEs but they used all the LE suspension so they’re mechanically identical except for the aircon and parking sensors.

      @@Aaron-tf3iv In terms of numbers, yes, a little rarer. I read that the paint is better on the TF135s than the LE500s but I can’t speak for LE owners. The body paint seems fine but the subframes, in particular, were very poorly covered by the time the car came to me and I’ve had to do a lot of cleaning and protecting underneath. It’s a cracking car, though. So much fun!
