So first off, since you posted this video, Bus, Anachrony, & KDM are now trending on BGG. Maybe Anachrony & KDM are just coincidental (they are big/popular games on their own), but I think Bus trending makes a strong case for how much influence you now have in this hobby space. Congrats on that well deserved and well earned accomplishment! I was really happy to see this video posted, and I think you put together a strong and diverse list.
I am really intrigued and interested in trying out Anachrony, Tainted Grail, & Great Wall. I haven't yet played Jaws of the Lion, but I love big box Gloomhaven (truly an amazing game). My friends started our campaign shortly before we (almost) all moved away to different states, and since then, Gloomhaven on Table Top Simulator has been one of our best ways to stay connected with each other. I've only ever played Blood Rage once, and I think it was too early in my board gaming experience and I just got destroyed by a friend who had played before and used the Loki strategy against me. It unfortunately left a bad 1st impression, but I think this is a game I need to give another try.
Scythe is one of my favorite games. I have all of the content for it, and I've invested in deluxifications too which really gives it a nice presence and feel. I recently just went through the Fenris campaign with my friends, and wow was it good! I think we were all temporarily exhausted of Scythe after binging that though.
At this point however, my favorite game of all time is one that you left off this list (seems to be in your top 20 though): Root. Just an amazing experience that stands on its own mechanically but is put over the top by its adorable and captivating theme, art, and flavor text. It's well balanced asymmetry at its finest! This is another one for which I have all of the content, including backing the recent Kickstarter.
As a final side note, I very recently tried KDM (only played the prologue so far), and I'm very impressed and excited to get back into it again. I've only gotten a taste of it, but I think I can already start to see why this is your #0 game. Thanks for emphasizing this one so much that I finally made trying it a priority. I look forward to seeing more of your content on it and everything else you do. Quack!

My favorite game is currently Love Letter. Typically a filler game for most, but it’s always been able to attract my older teenage kids and their younger sibling to the table more than any other in our collection. Sometimes who is joining you at the table is more important than what is on the table.

I’ve only just started to getting in to the hobby over the last year. Thanks for the help finding games and sharing great recommendations Quack! I dove in headfirst with Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion and it immediately hooked me. My wife and I play through the campaign as Hatchet and Red Guard.

Lately I started playing King of Tokyo again and had a great time! Introduced a brand new group to the hobby and they loved it, we played it three days in a row this weekend and probably will again the next. Quack!

mansions of madness has been my favourite game for a long time. The story elements created as you play seem to work way better than any other story-driven game I've played. Quack
I love mansions of madness, but as I kept playing it felt more and more like there weren't really many if any decisions for the players to make and it was almost like it was just a story you were listening to

Nice! I just picked up a copy from a local shop to gift to one of my friends that loves cooperative games. I wanted to find something good that I didn't already have and Paleo seemed like a solid pick.

Favourite game at the moment is Res Arcana, with its delicious puzzle-y combos of Artifacts and Places of Power - got so hooked I even played a tournament on BGA recently. This is a fantastic list - I'd love to get my hands on #9 Smoke, #4 Time, and #2 Loki now. Thanks and lots of love and Quacks!

My favorite game of all time got to be Secret Hitler ! My group and I have spent AT LEAST 60 hours with this game and it's still a blast.

My favourite game at the moment is Mansions of Madness (2nd edition) & Quack! Keep up the good work, it's nice to see another take on some of these games. Recently discovered your channel and it appeals to me, just the general way of talking and passion about the games is infectious! I just learned of the existance of the game The Great Wall, but its not available here. Wonder how that one is, it looks very promising and the theme speaks to me! Keep on quacking!

Yes!!! SE 4X is my fav game of all time! I put it off for so long thinking I’d never get over the pen and paper part but I adore it now.
I was a bit worried about the bookkeeping too but I found it sorta guided me through the turn anyway! That and the order of play on the board. It turned out to be quite a smooth game that I needn't have been a bit intimidated by!

I’m keen to try it as I love area control but I need to love the theme of a game too. The theme is a bit abstract for me.

I thought my small collection of games (only 9) would keep me happy for my game nights. Then I see your greatest top 10 and I have none of them, eek, embarrassed. My favourite game is Terraforming Mars due to the condensed time frame to succeed and the huge replayability in those cards! Quack!
small collections are best. You have a small core of games and you love every one, beats having a ton of games you only play once. I have about 79 games and im getting rid of over 70% of them.
My favorite game as of late has been Root. I know it is endlessly complicated, but I am charmed by the artwork and the asymmetrical nature of it. Quack!

Started playing gloomhaven with a couple of friends some months ago and all 4 of us are loving it - quack! Was tempted due to BGG ratings and not disappointed at all so far. :)
(Also looking forward to receiving Tanares some time in the not too far away future - hoping it gets me as hooked as I think it will. Quack to that also!)

My fav game by far is Inis. It fulfills the same role as Blood Rage but it's clean, fair, fast, tactical, thrilling, and the art is just gorgeous. Quack

Hey Jesse. I love watching your thoughtful videos. My favourite game of all time is on you list, it is Blood Rage. Can't get enough of it. One of my pleasures is introducing new people to this great hobby. I got my parents playing (my father has no hands, but has prosthetic hooks so I had him playing Azul. My mom enjoyed Century: Spice road etc.) When I get non-gamers to play BR, it is a special experience. Anyway, I would really love to have The Great Wall. It seems like a game right up my alley. I am a big Awaken Realms fan (Lords of Hellas, Nemesis), so I look forward to this title. All the best. Keep up the great work! Quack!

My favorite game is Yedo deluxe edition, I really love worker placement games and the art work looks really and the theme is really strong in this game… would really recommend because it seems to be under the radar for many people! Quack

My favorite game of all time is Lisboa, by Vital Lacerda, QUACK! As a fan of heavy euros, I just love how everytime a Lacerda game is on the table, me and my friends just can't stop admiring the genius brain this man has, being able to produce such a heavy games which at the same time feel so intuitive, as every single thing you can do is so well connected to the theme and makes sense. The one game that I keep returning to is definitely Spirit Island! The immense variability and asymmetric spirits mean that the game never gets old. There's always a new puzzle to quack in that game!
Completely agree with that one. Forgot about SI - it is my default go to solo or game I play with my wife when we want to go to something that always challenges us.

Appreciate what you do Quack. My favorite game is not my most played game, but I absolutely love Blood Rage. The close second and most played is Wingspan. Its harder to play Blood Rage solo. My favorite game recently has been Unmatched! It is simple to understand, and yet the strategy can get quite deep with all the different matchups. Add on the gorgeous art and the highly thematic characters and it has become a quick favorite. And best of all, it is fairly quick which is nice considering I haven't done much gaming otherwise lol. Quack!

Quack! My favorite game is Gloomhaven, because it’s what introduced me to the hobby. The fact I was able to throw JOTL on the table and teach 3 people who have never really played board games before is what impressed me the most and it’s what has started our monthly game night! We are looking into getting the Euro space so I picked up Catan as it seemed the least daunting to teach the group but my dream is get the group to play “Root” or “Sycthe”. Those games really get my duck feathers tingling
Quack! My fav of all time is Tyrants of the Underdark - great deck building combined with area control, where all the cards do cool, fun things, the interaction on the board is a great push-and-pull but never too punishing, and the multiple ways to score points keeps the ending exciting.
I'm just getting into board games and man, is it a rabbit hole! I've mostly played Catan and its probably my favourite just from all the fun times I've had playing with friends. We've just backed Flamecraft and are very excited to get our hands on it!! Quack!

My favorite game of all time as of now is Terraforming Mars. I just love the engine building aspect of the card play combined with area of control strategy of the board. We always play Teraforming Mars with prelude and turmoil expansions. I like the way the politics of turmoil bring an additional dimension to Terraforming Mars. Quack!
Thank you for the list, QUACK! Many games I really like on this list. It is so hard for me to pick my top game, I just like a lot of different games, but as of today, if I could only keep one, it would probably be KDM, even though it's been awhile since I've had it on my table. My runner up would probably be Too Many Bones.
Quack! I am pretty new to the board gaming world, and I have wanted to dive in deeper after finding your channel and BoardGameCo's channel. My favorite game so far would be "Betrayal at House on the Hill." If I had a choice, I would choose "The Great Wall," "Gloomhaven," "Scythe," or "Kingdom Death Monster." I am sure all 11 games are great, but these 4 are the only ones that I have heard anything about

My Favorite game is Japur.Although it is a simple two-player game, it means a lot to me. It was the first formal board game I played which made me realize the charm of board games and also give me and my girlfriend a lot of happiness.Finally, congratulations on reaching 30,000 fans! Quack!
