I love braiding Sweetgrass audio book because she is such an amazing storyteller and has a very soothing voice.
    Thanks for your teachings. ❤

I enjoyed your video. I would like to note that you can't tell if the grass was cut or pulled by how it looks in the braid because after braiding it, the ends can be trimmed for a tidy look. That said, it's pretty hard to remove the rhizomes and roots simply by pulling the blades of sweetgrass so you shouldn't stress too much about it. Devoting energy to removing competing vegetation is far more helpful to the sweetgrass' proliferation than is devoting energy to worrying about the cutting vs. pulling.

Just received 2 bundles of seeds and have been looking for any information on it as I can get. Thank you.

Best of luck, I've heard the germination rate from seed is not great but hopefully you'll get lots of viable seedlings ♥️

Really nicely informed. I have a hard time with watching magical/medicinal videos due to "monkey see, monkey do" info. This is a good one. New sub.

Regarding cut vs. pulled, you should go back to Robin Wall Kimmerers book and reread her grad students experiment.

Can confirm, have about 50 seeds and so far out of using half there are only six that germinated. Started indoors with grow lights.

How can I transplant this from a big clump that is growing in my lawn? I want to put it by itself to propagate and flourish.

I find that a spading fork is my favorite tool for digging up transplants, but really anything you have that can just dig up the clump to move it will work. I actually have a whole video on transplanting ☺️ th-cam.com/video/XbtLZEdEJ40/w-d-xo.html

I smell the sweetness of grass in lawnmower bags. Is it the same as the sweet grass in this site?

Sweet grass smells even better than regular grass, like a cross between dry hay and vanilla
