Love the 4 wheeler drive-in open! So fun. I have seen your videos evolve the past year & its evident that you put hard work into making them awesome. I love that you talk about never being able to travel- I have not ever been on an airplane before yet still at 26. But my animals and my land make me glad to be there day-in day-out.
How exciting to go to Nashville to Rory's farm. I loved watching him and Joey sing together. I wish I could be there to see y'all. Have a great time and safe travels. May God watch over everyone.🙏❤️
Everytime I read a tittle like that I freak out! But then you always pull a fast one on me HAHA! 😳🤣 Enjoy Tennessee and I am so happy you are teaching there! ❤️💕❤️
Congrats Melissa. I follow Rhodes family and Hollarfamily. I know it’s going to be very informative I’m past the age to be able to do all the things but I hope younger people get excited to learn how to live a homestead life. Watching you and your things you do gave me information for my son in law who is planting a garden with my grandchildren this year. Thanks for all your videos🤗
Be Blessed, Be Safe, Have the TIME of your life, You will go far young lady. Am so happy for you . So glad i get to watch and enjoy your videos. Peace from N.C. Oh yes I love Tennessee very much. Have kin there.
wow congrat's I wish you all the best God Bless and congrat's in your new adventures lovely hoping we still hear from you your great know you going love this take care
Just checked out Rory? Never heard of him until you mentioned him. Not only do we share a love for the outdoors, northern Washington country. Gardening and self reliance but music. Again, thanks so much for the knowledge you share.
Hello from Nashville, TN! Hope y’all have an awesome conference. So happy to see sustainable agriculture education grow! Love you Melissa! Try some iconic Nashville hot chicken while you’re here from Prince’s if you’re into area-specific experiences.
I Love how you mentioned the swimming in the cows water trough, because I used to do the same thing but for our horses. Or my friend and I would fill the yellow tubs up and let them warm up in the sun and then it would be our hot tub 😂😂😂
We moved to TN from Washington state:)) Bought an acreage and started our garden!! So excited. The growing season is much longer here. I love it. ❤️❤️ Have fun in TN!!
I just read your email. And I was so excited that you were in Columbia Tennessee where I live or should I say lived until 4 years ago. We now live in the next town over. We have been so busy with the farm life that I have not been able to keep up with my videos so I totally missed that this was going on and that you were going to be here. If I had known that I would’ve made the effort to have gone. I hope you were a great success which I’m sure you were.
Oh wow, what an honor! I just started following him. I had no idea he was hosting an event this year, can’t wait to see a recap of it. Maybe best year for sure!
Wow! What a great opportunity! I would love to be able to meet Rory as well. I had to giggle about you swimming in the cow trough. We did as well as kids & our prissy neighbour was so grossed out! We didn't think anything of it & had rinsed it out well 😆
Thank you for sharing Mrs. Melissa! We’re thinking and hoping we’ll be able to go on a little trip this summer (God willing). So this is very helpful! God bless ♥️
How very exciting! I'm assuming since you were leaving the homestead your family was able to travel and participate too! That's fantastic. I'm from Tennessee and one of my siblings lives in Columbia, which I believe is where the Feek Farm is located :) Never lived anywhere else in my life, so not sure how ya liked Tennessee compared to back home, but we love it here! Hope you received a very warm Volunteer State Welcome!
I hope you enjoyed your stay! I wish I had known about the conference last weekend here in Middle Tennessee! Our Summer temps are arriving this upcoming weekend too. We’re going to be in the 90’s with no rain in the forecast! 🥵
Congrats on the speaking engagement! I follow some of the other speakers like Rebekah Rhodes and Jason (from Sow The Land) was videoing the event for Homesteaders of America!
Hey melissa good luck at the conference you should do a video of you speaking there. Anyways the kneady homesteader was in a accident a drunk driver hit them so could you please send them some prayers
Oh my god you flipping SCARED me with the title of this video. Like no lie I was like NO! she can't be leaving what the heck! anyway, awesome awesome! I'm glad your going to be able to share your knowledge with even more people and get to have such an experience. Have fun and keep safe!
Wow ! I’m impressed that you crawled/stepped out of the chicken hoop with both hands full and did it gracefully! I would not have done it so well🙃😂! It’s fabulous that you will be instructing and socializing with many like minded people! Looking forward to seeing the shots of this. God bless and keep you all as you travel.
I'm guessing that the hanging feeder cuts down on rodent issues because the chickens spill less. It's definitely not harder access; I've seen a mouse hop up a flight of stairs and I'm pretty sure it was smiling while doing it...
Totally look for local producers of dairy/meat/veggies! We have so many little farms around our area that sell pastured/grass-fed meat and organic veggies that would love new customers. Before you go for brands like this (even ones that source from smaller farms), look at your local farms and support them directly.
I love your area but enjoyed Cumberland Falls from Southern Kentucky. Also, my husband and I attended this Homesteaders Conference of America and was at Melissa's gardening session. She was really good.
Hahaha! Farm kids just do stuff. Yes, and swimming in the cow tank is normal! Glad to see how you get everything ready to leave. I am planning a trip and will have “non-farm” friends taking care of animals. 🤪
Not only a great lifestyle for the un-lazy, but self sufficiency scattered across the landscape, be it Amish or even my own little 1/2 acre yard gardens, makes society and our species much more resilient to crisis.
I like your chicken mover much more than anyone else because of the large wheels and how easy it is to move for you. Why do all the homesteaders drag there’s around when larger wheels will help them not to damage the chicken mover.?
How many chickens do you have now? 😄 Do you still have your buff? I have some 7 weeks old hens for my new flock. I wasn’t able to get a buff but I did get some Wyandotte’s, Ameracaunas and reds 😄
butcher box is the BEST meat!! I've been getting their meat for the past 2-3 yrs now, and I won' t get it anywhere else! I'm VERY impressed that you get a huge mixture of meats, and they also give you the option to choose your own packages!
I love your cows, they're so cute! Wish I had room to raise meat of all kinds. I have a question : are the cows like, a family? (Sorry if this sounds dumb) when one is taken for slaughter, do the others miss it and get sad? Thank you for this quick glimpse inside your world and congrats on the conference vacay!!

Love Roy and his daughter. I followed him and his wife for years. He is such a good father to his beautiful little girl. You are so blessed!
How exciting to go to Nashville to Rory's farm. I loved watching him and Joey sing together. I wish I could be there to see y'all. Have a great time and safe travels. May God watch over everyone.🙏❤️
That’s exciting! Good luck at the conference. Your homestead is so beautiful.
Everytime I read a tittle like that I freak out! But then you always pull a fast one on me HAHA! 😳🤣 Enjoy Tennessee and I am so happy you are teaching there! ❤️💕❤️
Yeah. That's what it's designed to make you do. 😝
@TheLawDemon Bwahaha
The clickbait is actually turning me off to her channel. The emails are the same way.

Ahhhh! I can't believe you were 20 miles from my house and I didn't know! Hope you loved my Tennessee!
It was phenomenal!!
What an opportunity for you. Good luck in Tennessee. Really enjoy your work.

Tennessee is beautiful in May! Probably the rest of the year too, just haven’t been there then. Great video!
Wow! What a great opportunity! I would love to be able to meet Rory as well.
I had to giggle about you swimming in the cow trough. We did as well as kids & our prissy neighbour was so grossed out! We didn't think anything of it & had rinsed it out well 😆
So happy for you!
Wish I could go to the event. Maybe another year. ENJOY!!!!
We wondered if there were any conferences or expos for homesteading and/or off grid families. Sounds like a fun time.
Love your show!! Keep up the great work! ❤
Sorry forgot to wish you a great and safe trip enjoy all in Nashville take care
How fun! Happy for you. Safe travels!
So cool! I need to see if we can get a homestead conference set up here in Oklahoma!
Just bought Family Gardening Plan for a lady friend last week. Hopefully it'll help her as much as it's been helping me.
Thank you ❤
Lucky lady lol I hope to be able to purchase this book soon. So many good reviews on Amazon.
Good luck on your homesteading in Kentucky I hope God blesses you on this journey and you have a beautiful Farm!!😊❤

"...Not claw foot or it would be in my house" 😀 Priorities! Love it💕
Oh my god you flipping SCARED me with the title of this video. Like no lie I was like NO! she can't be leaving what the heck!
anyway, awesome awesome! I'm glad your going to be able to share your knowledge with even more people and get to have such an experience. Have fun and keep safe!
Clickbait sucks. Wonder what made her resort to that?
My 63-year-old dad just flew for the first time in April! It was the highlight of his vacation, lol.
Wow ! I’m impressed that you crawled/stepped out of the chicken hoop with both hands full and did it gracefully! I would not have done it so well🙃😂! Omg! Totally flipped when I read that title! I'm thinking..no! How can you give up homesteading?! 😭 sounds like an amazing opportunity!
Yeah. Me too. It's always awkward when someone you trust deceives you.
I was just in Hendersonville, TN on the weekend!
Hi, just wondering how many acres do you have?
How wonderful
Upper Cumberland TN homesteader here.
I love your area but enjoyed Cumberland Falls from Southern Kentucky.
Also, my husband and I attended this Homesteaders Conference of America and was at Melissa's gardening session. She was really good.
make the most of your opportunities to do things like that. makes great memories and stories.
You are coming to my state...eeee!!!!! If only I could go to meet you
Hahaha! Farm kids just do stuff. Yes, and swimming in the cow tank is normal!
Glad to see how you get everything ready to leave. I am planning a trip and will have “non-farm” friends taking care of animals. 🤪

Sweet .i live in Arkansas. So im a few hrs from Tennessee

We need some of your recipes! ❤️ Maybe like a week of suppers?
Rory and baby Indiana ❤️
Welcome to Tennessee!
Yes , homesteaders can leave home for a vacation!
Not only a great lifestyle for the un-lazy, but self sufficiency scattered across the landscape, be it Amish or even my own little 1/2 acre yard gardens, makes society and our species much more resilient to crisis.
Congrats! You deserve it!!!!
I like your chicken mover much more than anyone else because of the large wheels and how easy it is to move for you. Why do all the homesteaders drag there’s around when larger wheels will help them not to damage the chicken mover.?
Love Rory! So jealous, would love to see their place. Used to love to watch the Joey and Rory show. Is Marcy Jo's??? still open?

I live in Ohio zone 6a and I wanr to plant a bush with thorns, for srcurity, under a window with mostly shade. Any ideas what kind of bush?
How many chickens do you have now? 😄 Do you still have your buff? I have some 7 weeks old hens for my new flock. I wasn’t able to get a buff but I did get some Wyandotte’s, Ameracaunas and reds 😄
Where is the link for Butcherbox?
Beneath the video in the video description but here it is too bchrbox.co/melissanorris

Wow!! What a wonderful opportunity for you all! Travel safely and remember: black peoper is in EVERYTHING so go easy ~ LOL!
So how did the Trip go ??
What state is your homestead in? Looks amazing
butcher box is the BEST meat!! I've been getting their meat for the past 2-3 yrs now, and I won' t get it anywhere else! I'm VERY impressed that you get a huge mixture of meats, and they also give you the option to choose your own packages!
Love your videos, From Brazil
I love your cows, they're so cute!
Wish I had room to raise meat of all kinds.
I have a question : are the cows like, a family? (Sorry if this sounds dumb) when one is taken for slaughter, do the others miss it and get sad?
Thank you for this quick glimpse inside your world and congrats on the conference vacay!!
Does swimming in the cow trough and walking in 'cow poop' have anti aging qualities?
Congradulations
There's a real beauty to common sense cut with decency
I was about to scream "Nooooooooooooooooo"
