In this video, Abhi and Niyu discuss how Odisha saved Indian hockey by investing in sports infrastructure. Odisha is hosting Mens Hockey World Cup for the second time in a row. This time, the world cup is taking place in Bhubaneshwar and Rourkela. Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela is one of the largest hockey stadiums in the world. Under the guidance of CM Naveen Patnaik, Odisha has transformed itself to become the sports capital of India.

I am from Gujarat. Odisha ki ye kahani jankar mai bahot bahot khush hu. Odisha development ki rah par chal chuka hai. Harek states ko ek ek aise sports ko sponsors karna chalu karna hoga jisme india pichhe hai, like rugby, swmming, football, tennis, vollyball, canoeing, fencing, gymnastic, cycling and ofcourse different athletics categories. I want to explore the areas of Odisha like Rourkela,Koraput,Sambalpur,Puri, Bhubaneswar,Balasore etc...
First I must get a job in any Government Sector then I will go there to explore historical places in Odisha.
My Friends who are from Odisha, They are very supportive to me and also have Good Behaviour😊.
But I always LOVE my Native District "Visakhapatnam".

I am really proud and it is really fascinating that Odisha is one of the very few states that contribute most hockey players to both national mens and womens hockey Team. And also there have been several intiatives by State government like improving infrastructure for better encouragement.

Ahh we don't say that Odisha is developed like Singapore neither we want to be we have our Jaga in Puri & we're happy with his company but yeah there is corruption in every state & what do you think that Gujarat govt isn't corrupted?? More or less every govt is corrupted & although I'm not in favour of BJD party of Odisha still I'm against this cheap mentality which people like you have grown up in their mind against Odisha.
We don't need to certify others what's our condition as even our resources are just getting transferred to Maharashtra & Gujarat(so called developed states) time & again still we are silents following the laws n order of GOI without even a question we have everything from forest to mines from rivers to coasts from fertile lands to hilly mountains from vast coastline to lakes but no such facilitating posture from GOI towards our tourism still we don't say anything so better please don't force us to expose other better shut the fk up & get lost.
We have our own issues & we'll sort it out under the blessings of our Jagannath.

Growing up in West India and being from a North Indian family I never heard anything about East India other than perhaps WB. Even everything we were taught in school was about the economic troubles of the region (Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar), but as an adult when I finally visited Rourkela and Odisha, I was super impressed. I'm glad there's more information about a state like Odisha available now and that the state is doing well!
Thank God someone finally acknowledged. I am from Odisha and living in Mumbai for last 15 years. Till today many Mumbai people do not know much about Odisha. My colleagues who are well educated still ask me “Woh Odisha Aasam k pass hai na” “Do you speak Odisi”? “Waha bahut jungle hai na” etc etc

Like in my village, volleyball is a popular sport and people have an obsession about it. Every year they organise volleyball tournaments to empower and motivate the youth towards volleyball.

Odhisa has been a under rated state who has given a lot to the country but has been unnoticed since years ... in year 2021 I went to Odhisa and saw the hockey stadium and I still think why people haven't noticed such good facilities ... we indians are always behind cricket and have forgotten how exciting this game is ... we often follow fifa and cricket but somewhere hocky was almost diminished from our sight ... thanks to odhisa even after having such hugh natural clamities they are able to do such good to our game ... Eveyone who is blindly going to goa to watch sea coast do visit odhisa it is beautiful
