    Part one of two.
Written and hosted by Micheal Whelan.
Music and production by Tyson Nordgren.

I met Mr. and Mrs. Beaumont when I was little, a few years after the disappearance. They were really nice people, it was terrible that this happened to such a normal family. They divorced about a decade after the event and as far as I know both are still alive, they are about 90 years old now.

finally you're back !!!. you don't understand how much I missed your podcast. I know it takes work but please don't pull a hiatus like that again. your hard work is appreciated.

Haha, sorry about that! I don't really go into detail about it on this episode (or part two, which comes out TODAY!), but had to take a bit of time off for a variety of reasons. Changed jobs, moved, went on a road trip, had a family member in the hospital... the gamut of reasons, really.
But I don't plan on it again! Hope to have a really productive podcasting summer, and part two should be out by the end of the day! I also have the next TWO episodes fully-written, and I've started on the third! =D

By the way.. I have numerous podcasts uploaded on my phone that i listen to daily. Out of the 30+ I browse and listen to, Unresolved is my absolute favorite. It's important to retell these mysteries /disappearances so that parents remembers just how unsafe society can be and how children can be taken in an instant. This is a sad story.

A January 26 'Australia Day' public holiday was always held as part of a long weekend (3 day w/e) up til 1994. Only AFTER 1994 did it become a public holiday held on the actual date of the 26th January. So the day that the Beaumont children disappeared was a normal work weekday...Wednesday January 26th, 1966.
