To answer your question about the high notes in Dum: He is using his head voice here, which is softer and not as powerful but easier to do sometimes with high notes. I tend to use my head voice when I`m feeling like I can`t hit that note in my chest voice right now and I think that`s what he`s doing here. Maybe just to avoid not hitting the note right and to save his voice a bit. Hope that was okay to understand xD
Also it could just be a style choice as well
