Here is what you need to know - I stutter and skate (I know the name came out of nowhere ;) and I'm excited to make videos that show different rollerblading/inline skating perspectives. In this video, Canadian Golden boy, Alexei Morita comes to New York City for one day and I had to show him all the best (and worst) places in NYC to flow through. His style and effortless movement are always a blast to see and I'm glad we were able to collaborate on this video.

Alexeis style is so mesmerizing to watch when you guys were freestyling in the garden plaza. You're also an incredible skater but there's something about his skating that is just insane flow

I'm from STL, MO. I spent 3 days in NYC, Manhattan, a year ago during spring break going North and South and East and West on the massive metro island jungle! So many great memories of an incredible 3 days of skating! Watching this and seeing so many familiar places made me smile.
Harold, thank you so much for sharing and for supporting. I am also from St. Louis Missouri actually, just got back from a short trip there. There’s some thing about skating through the city and getting those iconic experiences that will always make me smile.

Are you running 80mm or 90mm wheels ? What skate boot is that? Looks like powerslide
@@cballer562 there's another video he films (Threading the needle | Race Wheels vs New York City) where he uses 90mm wheels! I'm not sure if that's his always, but he does in that video. If it's not, then he probably usually uses 80mm!

Hell ya somehow your channel popped up from watching your collab with the other guy. The music was good in this one. I want to request the song sunshines and I don’t care by Veronica. haha Gordon, I was trying to show Alexei how to control someone who you are in a hockey fight with. Deff not my area of expertise haha
@@thestutteringskater Haha, that's too funny. I wouldn't say hockey grappling is my expertise either, a regular one is. But this rule applies. Even a better general rule- to control inside space. The best takedown on skates I'd think would be a "body fold takedown". And control, control, control. What an absurd conversation, lol. Cheers!

@@adam_speed_skater that depends on your ability. 4x80 is slower to drive but more controllable than 4x90 etc
