"Carol of the Bells" is a popular Ukranian carol, composed in 1916 by Mykola Leontovych with lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky.

It's odd. The lyrics are very cheery and all, and yet the music is very foreboding and ominous. I can't think of another song like it.
Actually, the music is an arrangement of an old Ukrainian carol "Schedrik" made by Mykola Leontovich, composer and conductor, in 1901. English verse made for NBC Radio by Peter Wilhovsky in 1936.
Slav music is like that. You should hear their traditional birthday song! it's a sad song.

I love this, but I couldn't understand it when the lyrics changed and broke off into separate sets of lyrics. Could you redo the lyrics and show the other lyrics as well?
What do you mean by "redo" the lyrics?
***** What I meant by redo was to type the lyrics again and show the overlapping lyrics of the other parts (baritone, tenor, bass) along with the lead.

@@karson8292 I'm sorry, but you are apparently conflating circulatory breathing performed by some wind instrument players who inhale through their noses while continuing to expel air from their reservoirs in their cheeks. This isn't possible with vocal singing, as the sound is produced by the expressing of air FROM the lungs THROUGH the vocal chords, causing vibrations and singing. The moment the chords relax for inhalation, the singing stops.

Tant de travail pour 96 secondes... Quelle oeuvre fascinante tout de même ! Ecrire l'accompagnement, l'apprendre, faire toutes les prises nécessaires, avec le rythme la justesse et même le jeu d'acteur et sans coupures, monter le tout pour obtenir ce résultat ! Vraiment très réussi. (J'ai tenté de jouer un chant de noël au basson en duo avec moi-même, sans l'image et avec un métronome... Et bah c'est pas gagné ^^')

Thing I like about theses Christmas songs (Even though they are all about 2 years ago) is that they are just pure perfect. I can't see any differences with original productions, yet its is something different to hear.
