Best line. “Use a coaster” my setup allows nothing on speakers. Despite the sign on the nearby table DRINKS GO HERE my son put a beer on my AR2-ax. We now call him “stumpy”.
Hahaha same, I have a couple items with piano black finishes, a definite no go to put anything on those, in fact just don’t touch them…so many fingerprints
Only thing I need is the xlr inputs and throughput. My dual RSL 12S work awesome. I now have an SPL Elector preamplifier and an SPL Crossover and dialing is is a dream. The Crossover is so nice. Great video as always!
@@MattCoykendall1 Hmmm .... and why would that be? You would be amazed if you knew how many times I've been on service calls and seen dented in tweeters and dust covers, because the owner thinks "the grills affect the sound" ... Go figure.
Man, really love that you hit every corner and consideration. Wonder how this sub would compare with a Rel t7/x with the plug in (what I’m using currently). Seems it would be pretty amazing for music. Haven’t tried REW, but now want to just to see if putting the mic on my head would actually work 😂
The T7x has a really strong focus on music, limited deep extension but does what it’s intended to do well. This one has more power and of course a much larger cabinet so even in sealed mode it’s going to be a bit louder and deeper, just a matter of preference though.
You say corner loaded What was the distance between the Wall and the woofer driver? After audyssey will it Sound muddy or precise? Greetings from Germany
Darn nice sub Matt, and a BEAST! I like the ap, one of the coolest features of my SVS SB3000 subs that will not allow me to part with them. It is so nice to be able to dial the subs in from your listening position. And where did you get the beer coaster for that end table? ;-)
Excellent video, as always. Not sure if you can answer this question. I am new to higher end systems. I bought an Orchard amp and streamer. I have two tower speakers. I also have two sups, I have not hooked them up yet. How would I and should? Thank you.
Depends on the subs, what connections they have. If they have speaker level inputs you could go that route. Enjoy the Orchard products as well, good stuff.

Dual 12s is no joke
The grill is to keep cats, kids and toys out. Unless you live alone and never have company it's a very useful thing to have.
Gotta say I have kids and a cat and never an issue, I just can’t cover the drivers haha

The apps really can add the final touch on subs, I hope it’s the direction more companies go. I made the coasters haha!

Does the App have a mute function?
No I believe your only option for that is to lower the gain in the app.
Nice!
Indeed
WAY OVER PRICED!!! Lots of other subwoofers that are better. Buy 2 Tone Winner 6000 for less than 1 of these and they will smoke it!!!
