Keep up the creativity Bary! I'm having a blast watching the CUBE take you around the wet shaving community! So far, day #3 seems to be a stand out as far as most liked scent!
Great. Shave Barry and wow have the first 2 been fantastic. Really looking forward to the next door. This is my first time with the advent but will be an annual journey. Highly recommended! Can’t wait to use these for travel as well.
Oh man, I am set for any travel shave now for sure! The only problem is how to decide what to bring? Maybe just grab a blind handful and be surprised? Lol!
Like you, I remember seeing a few SOTD reviews with this one myself. It sounds wonderful based on the description and your first impression. The one Christmas that still really stands out in my mind... I was wanting a 22 rimfire rifle. But my parents didn't have the money so I wasn't expecting one. My brother and I had a bedroom upstairs above the livingroom. There was a small vent in the floor to allow heat from downstairs to come upstairs into our room. Well it just so happened the vent was almost above the Christmas tree. I was still awake and could hear my parents putting the Christmas gifts out after we went to bed. So I quietly crawled out of bed and layed on the floor so I could look down that floor vent. 🤣 My eyesight is horrible, but I thought it looked like there was a rifle laying down there. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night from my excitement! The next morning, I discovered it was my dad's Glenfield Marlin 60 he gave me. I had that rifle for many many years. Then foolishly, I traded it at a sports shop toward another rifle. I've regretted it ever since and have wished many times thst I had it back. The sentimental value of it meant more to me than its monetary value ever would now. Out of guilt, I later purchased a Remington made Marlin 60 trying to recapture what I lost. But its not the same for several reasons. So that story is bittersweet in my mind. At least I have the memory to cherish. The most important thing I take away from it now is just how much my parents were willing to sacrifice for me and my siblings when we were growing up. And I'm still blessed to have both of my wonderful parents. Sorry for the long post. Hope you enjoyed reading one of my memorable Christmases.
First off, thank you for sharing such a wonderful Christmas story. You write as long a post as you feel like writing at any time, friend. I promise I will read and respond. I still have a 410 shotgun my grandfather gave me. I can definitely relate. Have a Merry Christmas!
Another great one - no misses yet! No need to be so hard on yourself about how much you are talking during the first inpressions videos. I'm enjoying your content!
I thank you for that. But trust me. I have been my worst critic for 54 years, lol. But no worries, it is just because I want to deliver quality content for all of you!
Loving those intros! My most memorable was in 1985 and I got a Mac 512k. I was so excited! And yes, it used the real floppy discs with the magnetic ring in the middle. I started learning to program by making colored sqaures like the Purina Dog Chow symbol 😄 I like this scent, clean and floral. Im not getting the tobacco or oud notes. I'm not sure I shook the bottle before applying though. I'll retry tonight.
Man I can’t remember a Christmas present that was my favorite. Most recently my girlfriend gifted me a really nice straight razor but when I was a kid I really couldn’t say. Every Christmas felt like it was going to be the best one yet. Cheers my friend and great video
Great story, I am glad that technology has advanced since then! I never got this scent, but I do remember when it was around. You should try Malbolge. That one is a carry-over from the HTGM days and is a great one. The advent calendar is off to a great start and I'm sure there's more to come! Take care!
🥶👑- I like Matthew's little smirk before the transition 🤣. My favorite Christmas present was 1996, or 97? My Mom got me a Nintendo 64, I had been asking for it and she said she wasn't getting it and I really believed her 🤣. She really bamboozled me, and the funny thing was I was so excited I dropped it LMAOOOOO. Fortunately it was fine, I played a lot of Mario 64 that day. My friend had a commadore 64, I remember we had to type commands to play games or I think everything required a command and it took us forever to figure out lol? I specifically remember Rambo, that game was the probably the hardest game I've ever played. I just remembered waiting like 10 minutes for it to load, then you'd spawn and almost instantly die 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Then do the whole thing over. What kind of game was that! Or my friend might of had a really set up. I remember watching my dad play dig dug! ❤️🔥 Thanks for opening up some good memories!
Oh man. Games back then had no continues. Half the time no instructions lol. Some games you died immediately lol. Thank you for sharing this awesome story!
It seems you are starting to get used to the cube lag associated with space travel. Glad you enjoyed the scent, seems like an interesting one, I often tend to like scents that have the tobacco leaf note.
It’s from PAA but the htgam g+ group was still a thing…and a LEGENDARY G+ group! Lol, I should of explained that better! 😅The tin was a tip of the hat to the group and my OG soap tin! (8 ounces)
How funny. I was buying my daughter a couple of games for Christmas for her nintendo switch as the notification of your comment popped up! I think CUBE must be close by! The synchronicity is like Dejevu in the Matrix!
