Nice shave Bary. This was a winner of a scent for me.

Thank you, sir! This one is very fun! I can see layering this as well as it can stand alone perfectly well. I wouldn't be surprised at an atomic mashup version of this if it comes out.

🥶👑 -Another great "a shave and a story" Yes I remember those bins also right by the counter for a cheap impulse buy. That green super bubble was SO good, flavor didn't last long but it was strong, super bubble had a soft consistency too. After they got rid of that I got my fix from grape big league chew which wasn't the same but was intense in flavor. I enjoy the format of these videos, funny intro, we get the scent profile and shave, then a story for dessert. I'd be interested in some stories from your repo man days, I really liked that repo show they had awhile back. Also looking forward to a recap of your favorite from this series. As far as traditions, my old tradition was getting to open up one present Christmas eve, I plan on doing that with my son. A new one I started with my wife and sister in law we watch Home Alone 1 and 2 and order cheese pizzas on Christmas Eve. And my wife always had a quiche Christmas morning, which we still also do. Thanks Bary! ❤️‍🔥

To answer your questions and a few comments.
-I love the tribute you did your dad, it hit home with me and was happing when my dad was in the hospital.
    - the cube videos are cool and I look forward to them. The effort you put into your videos and your passion about the hobby does not go unnoticed and it’s infectious. Great work.
    - lastly, our Christmas tradition. We all pile up at mom’s house, her kids, sisters, the whole big family. We lost mom this year; I decided work for Christmas and give someone else the time off. I am not ready for Christmas without her yet. I rather spend it out at sea. They say time heals, I hope so.

I completely get that, Eric. I spent a few Christmases at work and alone on purpose for that very same reason. I just wasn't ready. Thank you for the kind words again, my friend. But most of all, thank you for sharing your story. I appreciate it very much.

This was a great one. Wife and I both love a good apple scent! This one is near the top.
I was also thinking you were going to say big league chew!

@johnjaeger9148 Yeah, Big League Chew escaped my brain as I was thinking of different gums. This one is a fantastic scent!

Oh my gosh! I remember super bubble! You just took me back to the early eighties! There was super bubble, bazooka gum, and big league chew! The stringy big league was always my favorite! Take care Bary!

Big Apps is a great scent! I had a sample of Atomic Age Bay on my left wrist and Big Apps on my right. The combo is incredible! Gonna have tontry Atomic Apple Pecan now.
The Advent Calendar has been an absolute joy! I will participate fornas long as humanly possible. Your videos have been every bit as entertaining and a nice complement to the adventure. Great idea visiting other TH-camrs, and using cube as your vessel. Very clever! Also, alternating head and face shaves so you could each product, well done!
Our Christmas tradition since I was a child that still stands is that we open presents Christmas Eve after driving around to see the lights. Then Christmas morning we do stockings.

Very good! That's how I would wear my handlebar mustache when I had one. More of an informal style, because doing it up formal and keeping it that way is a pain in the butt. I don't remember this one or if it was offered outside of the event. Oddly enough, I'd probably like this apple scent as I do like green apple. I do like apple, but the combo with cinnamon is just not my thing. I do remember having homemade coco around Christmas and that's a real treat compared to the stuff in packets. We always had mushroom soup with homemade bread on Christmas Eve. There were some other soups that we made through the years, but it's hard to beat a good homemade creamy mushroom soup. A tradition from my father's parents that I've kept going. I lost my father in 2014 right after Christmas and it's one of those things that's always there. Take care.

Great to see Doug Layne Thought you were going to say Big League Chew that had a green apple 🍏bag and I used to chew that with friends and you just reminded me of my baseball days. Great shave Barry. I really liked this one.

Legend has it, the first comment sets the tone for the entire video. I arrived third, but with the wisdom of hindsight and the audacity of a time traveler, I’ve recalibrated reality. The original two are hereby demoted to a warm-up act. And now, I reign supreme. FIRST!!

One Christmas tradition that I tried to do every year since 3 years ago was making Stollen which is a german type of sweet bread but this year work got in the way and I was very busy and no Stollen was made :(

    • @ATexanShaves
      @ATexanShaves  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Oh! I will have to look into Stollen! I make my own twist on a chexmix every year. I bought all the ingredients, but like you, work and life have gotten in the way. Thank you for sharing, Sean!
