from what i see you can actually enter infinity amount of codes, you just can't save the game or the slot will be deleted. that is, unless you can't enter any codes anymore after the 3, i haven't played the game so i don't know

End of the letter, Grunty includes a warning: "You like these codes, my little cheater? Then I'll show you a spell that will make you titter. Use more than 2 of these little tricks, and I'll erase your game for kicks! The only exception are the Eggs and Key Since they won't help you wallop me!" Sadly, I don't have the letter anymore...
when it said "erase your Game Pak", i honestly thought it meant it would wipe the cartridge clean of ANY data, literally deleting the Banjo Kazooie game itself.
I think the reason the whole park isn't erased is because it would leave you responsible for deleting someone else's. Save file. Not everyone has the option of having all three save files and has to split them up between three players. That would make you a huge douche for deleting their games as well as your own.
I found this the most convincing explanation, it’s possible to erase the entire pak for sure, but it would just be too annoying and probably cause the company to lose a lot of money

It depends on the cheat codes. If they are cheat codes from Cheato, the cheats for the Stop 'n' Swop Items, or the cheats that give you infinite supply of certain things, they won't do anything. This only happens if you type in three cheats to open a level or another part of Grunty's Lair.
I think the scariest part about your file being erased is that the characters break the 4th wall. Also the fact is that your file gets erased. What I mean by the 4th wall part being broken means the characters in the game know what everything outside the world is like (You, physical emotions shown to you, mentioning things about you or outside the world, etc.). It doesn’t happen in just games as well, animations and cartoons do the same. In this case for Banjo Kazooie, Grunty knows what a Game Pak is, along with the other dog looking guy (I’ve never played Banjo Kazooie before, so I don’t know his name) when other Banjo Kazooie characters in other circumstances and even Grunty should not know this. I personally find it scarier when it is ONLY those two characters who mention the Game Pak even KNOW what it is. Also, I bet you couldn’t skip the Game Over screen because your file was being erased during it.

Or Heretic, a game that followed Doom. If you do IDDQD (Invincibility in Doom), you die in Heretic. If you do IDKFA (All weapons and keys in Doom), you lose all your weapons instead. But Heretic does have some different codes to allow cheating anyways. Ironic though. :P
The Konami Code is just different in Gradius 3. It's something about using the L and R buttons instead of the Left and Right arrows, but I'm not completely sure.

You don't need to collect all 900 Notes in the game, it is just a bonus past the door if you collected every Note. After the door there is the last picture that you need to fill in. It takes only 4 Jiggies to fill in, and once you are done it, the picture resembles a giant empty honeycomb. After that, you get double health. Your health turns red and when you get hit it turns yellow.
The reason the devs added that feature in there was to prevent players from unlocking all the doors without any effort and beating the game early than intended that way when the game is beaten they cannot just beat the game as much as they desire because your save file will be gone.

On Xbox Live Arcade not only do the codes that affect Gruntilda's Lair make this happen, (cheats that open doors, release Jiggies, etc.) but also the codes that reveal Stop N' Swop items make this happen as well. Not sure about cheats for infinite items and stuff, though. Instead, however, the Stop N' Swop items are automatically revealed if you have Banjo-Tooie (XBLA) or Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and allow you to use Stop N' Swop.
That's because Stop 'N' Swop can only be done with GameShark or Treasure Trove Cove cheats. She doesn't erase yours because Stop 'N' Swop cheats are allowed.
Around 2010 i got my brothers n64 When I tried playing i couldnt go anywhere and when i go to bottles he says hes gonna erase my save file if I dont leave him alone. I dont know what that was like an anti piracy? Which would be weird cuz i had a cartridge

The cheats that trigger deletion are those that remove note doors, open worlds, etc. that would directly help you advance in the game. The N64 cartridges are called generally Game Paks (packs). They contain all of the game info and save data in lieu of a memory card or harddrive like modern disks do.
Have you tried the Gameboy version. You can EASILY get everything in every level within five-ten minutes. I am undoubtly sure you only have to backtrack to one level for only one jigsaw piece as well. While it is fun, it is way to easy. Being a fan of Banjo I had to find out what the last boss was like on the game.
This might make Grunty the most powerful video game villain in existence. She's the only one capable of erasing an entire universe.

This is correct. You're forced to watch the game over scene the first time it shows up on a new game file. After that, it is skipable.

The N64 cartridges are called generally Game Paks (packs). They contain all of the game info and save data in lieu of a memory card or harddrive like modern disks do.

Have you tried the Gameboy version. You can EASILY get everything in every level within five-ten minutes. I am undoubtly sure you only have to backtrack to one level for only one jigsaw piece as well.
While it is fun, it is way to easy. Being a fan of Banjo I had to find out what the last boss was like on the game.
actually, it only happens if you enter 3 ILLEAGAL cheat codes. for some reason, the 3rd one gives you a choice if you want to activate it or not
