It’s so nice to get to know Harley a little better. We see him in some family gatherings. But rarely speaking. He seems like a good guy.
I agree. Seems like a solid nice guy....
If I lived in Alaska I would bring my car there for sure! He seems very knowledgeable
Everything you do for others during this season of giving shows you have a heart like Jesus taught us. Blessings to your family! 💜✝️🕊️

Someone did a big "wow" thing for me once and I have remembered it for years and years. Being disabled for so long and on an extremely tight budget, I will never forget his kindness. I love to see people pass on the Lord's blessings. Merry Christmas to all the Happy Peoples. 🙏🏼🎄
The little girl in the close out was absolutely precious. She brought smiles, and some tears from my heart. She reminded me of my youngest daughter, who is now grown, married, and expecting her first baby. ❤️
The happy people closing was adorable!!!! That little guy was so stinking cute!!!
Wow! Paying someone’s bill this time of year is a HUGE help! That guy is breathing a sigh of relief I bet! ❤❤❤from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Merry Christmas!! I love the random acts of kindness….may God continue to bless this family.
Oh, how incredible to pay somebody’s car repair bill. You are really awesome people.
I love each one of your videos. Such a different life from what we live here in Texas! God bless your family as we all celebrate our Savior’s birthday.
I remember growing up in Ohio and our power would go out all of the time during the winter. We would hang a blanket to block off the hallway to the back part of the house and keep the heat in the living room, dining room and kitchen. We would sleep in the living room. Only problem was the bathroom was in the back part of the house, so you only went when you absolutely needed too.
I live in Ohio and my dad remembers the blizzard of 78 and lived in Mansfield at the time
@teresagremling5148 , I remember that blizzard also. We missed so much school we actually had to fo to school on Saturdays to make up the extra days.
I love the cute kid at the end with the awesome dog Christmas sweater!!!!
Yes!!!! Agree
Lol when we see Harley we want to see pictures of the baby he's such a cutie 🥰
The recipient of the bill-pay didn't sound very excited....I would have squealed! lol
Merry Christmas!!! 🎄
@@JC-rl1vd I never asked, "why"...I said what I would have done.
I think they shocked and in disbelief. They were probably thinking is this a prank??!
Hello my friends thank you for sharing Harley
Be safe all of you.
Just checked Alaskan Apparel and you are SOLD OUT!!! Great job.
I think it starts tomorrow 12/14
@nancyjoberg148. You are correct
Only Bert and Harley could make a video about car care fascinating! So interesting. Great video.
Great job Harley
It was really interesting to hear Harley's car advice 👍🏻
Always keep that survival bag with you 😊
I was a day early.Yesterday when I Wwas out picking things up there was an elderly woman in front of me and I paid for what she was getting.
TAKE CARE and STA WELL HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL
Woot! Great job! :)
Bert can fix anything!!
You guys are So Awesome!!! Thank you for paying that man’s bill !!! 💵 he can rest easy and what a blessing!!!
I am so excited for May to come see the inside passage on cruise it will be my 50th state . I wore my mint green side zipper on a walk with my dad last week and he told me that my zipper was messed up and I needed to fix it I had to tell him that it was how it was cut. They do keep you warm.
Fantastic gift for that family & happy that you faired well through the blizzard. We have them here in Alberta, but have had fairly mild winters lately. Christmas blessings to all 🤗🇨🇦
That's so great that you guys paid for someone's car repair♥️
Oh paying a car bill this time of the year is a lifesaver! Great idea! I’ve had to pay for four new tires on my car a week before Xmas as a single mom of three and it was rough. Glad to know there are still random acts of kindness out there! ❤
Same thing happened to me but my children are grown. I’m doing this only living on social security. Rough!
Stay safe, storms are no joke. Livvy is SO SWEET
WOW! You folks are incredible. Be safe!❤❤❤
That is so amazing that you paid for somebody’s car repairs! That is so fantastic so close to Christmas. And thank you for taking the time to talk to your brother-in-law and Phyllis in about the cars. That’s very interesting.
Hi, love your family. Question: Why not get a full house Generator? We have one and it is wonderful when power goes out it immediately goes on and everything in house works.
Thank you for being so kind❤
It’s nice to have a nice mechanic taking care of cars Thank you Bert for sharing your video
great acts of kindness - it's nice to know youtube can help with that & your videos are great.
Stay awesome..n.. stay safe..n..please stay warm!! Miss Livvy is a cute lil lady!! What a gift
at this time of year!! Lookin great Miss Audrey...quite the lovely young lady.. Mr Garrett is gettin to be a great young man!!
Enjoyed the visit!!
Thanks !!
👍🐺🎅🦊🤙
Wow, the random act of kindness was so awesome if that had happened to me I would’ve absolutely passed out. I’m glad you got your power back on. I hope you all are warm and toasty. Thank you so much for this video.
Bert, you are a wonderful provider for your family.
Happy Holidays Somers Fam. God bless you guys. It’s so wonderful you do these random acts of kindness. We need more of you Fam in this world.🙏❤️
Dolly Haze!!
Love the random acts of Christmas Kindness. FYI We were on generator 15 days after hurricane Helene in GA. Now fun. Glad you are so positive in every situation.
My buddy north of Bakersville, NC was on generator for about 28 days. We were lucky it was only 10 for us.
Love how you teach your kids how to do things for there self. Teaching not just showing.
Wow, so amazing…I have been asking my neighbors to do something like this instead of buying too many xmas presents. In Calif again we are having fires, floods and earthquakes….North Carolina desperately still needs shelter with winter upon them….$25,000 will provide a tiny home for people living in tents in freezing weather, there are churches and Go Fund Me for that area
You always bring a huge smile to my face! Thank you!!❤😊
Good afternoon somers family I'm glad harley feeling better 😊 great video thank you for all you do helping others love and hugs from florida many blessings ❤
Audrey definitely looks wonderful for her winter ball!
Hey Bert I remember the 3 yrs I was in Alaska I was lucky I was stationed at Fort Richardson just. North of anchorage. I had a 1970 Chevy impala.
Thankyou for helping out others at this time of year…other u tubers don’t..they just think about themselves..god bless to a wonderful family..merry Christmas..
We deal with the same kinds of weather and roads in Canada as in Alaska at least in a good portion of the country…prepping the vehicle before winter is important.
Same here in the Upper Great Lakes. 👍
Love you sharing the nature with us.
Love it we just had our generator wired to run the house expensive but so worth it if power goes out in Wi we never know
Hello glad the lights came back on with the generator, take care all happy holidays to all.❤😊🙏🙏❤🐦🎄🙂
Thanks for helping your community.
God bless.
My brother and I lived in the midwest...Kansas and Colorado....so we are used to major snow and power outages. But we live in Ohio now and like someone else said we actually get power outages here on and off all the time, not just winter time.
But Merry Christmas from Ohio and stay safe.
It was great to see Olivia ❤she is so adorable 💖 Harley looks great ! Your family is very kind and special ❤️
He is a great guy.
Bert...wouldn't be right to see you splitting wood without that pink axe😊...love you guys ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bert. You need a toboggan. Beautiful snow but my arthritis would be so bad if I lived there. The snow on the trees is so beautiful.
its so nice to help to pay someones bill
As we live in The Netherlands we are used to do a lot of things by bike! I try to go to work ( 9 kilometers) by bike, only when it’s rainy I take the car.
We changed our oil from 10/30 to 5/30 when we brought the truck from Alaska to Texas. So going opposite direction the vehicle needs changed due to the heat here in TX
Reminds me of being stationed at Ft. Wainwright in the late 80’searly 90’s. Got HOOKED on fresh halibut fillets and moose fajitas…we would also tie flourscent paracord from door to door so ya didn’t get lost from the barrecks to the mess hall or batillion admin building..no fun…
Best fish Halibut. Never been to Alaska but the halibut I eat in Arizona is so delish. No fish restaurants here but I buy it at grocer. No where else to buy it.
Reminds me of winter when I lived in upstate New York...
Love that you payed someone’s bill. What a blessing! I can never understand why some people don’t use their garages when it gets so cold and those storms hit. It’s easier to clear snow off of the driveway and my truck always starts even if we don’t have power. It’s so nice not to have scrape windows at 5 am.
This is a great video!!! I’ve always wondered about vehicles up north!
Hi Somers Family. Love you all. That wonderful to pay somebody bill.
Live here in Arizona. It's stop and go in rush hour up to two and a half hours sometimes. Due to heavy traffic but there's alot of accidents here. Pretty congested. Your car batteries at most two years because of the hostile heat. I only have 17k miles on my 2021 car because I'm not on any freeway to work and it's 15 minutes to work. Before 100 miles in one day and car battery replaced in one year. Gone through 5 cars here since 2007.
We love you guys ❤
It's always beneficial to have some sort of backup for power and heat during a storm, or just in general. Thank you for taking care of someone elses vehicle repair bill for random acts of kindness. Angels❤
Tell Harley thank you. Some mechanic actually four of them when I showed up at a appointment to have my car repaired replace the modular, put a straight pipe in because my muffler had broke in two handed me the plug wires and said for whoever replaces your plugs which I had already bought but not installed and looked at me when it was time to pay the bill and said Merry Christmas 🎄. So thank you thank you thank you
You are the most generous and kind people…. Merry Christmas
🎄 Love your family 🙏💛
Your family has such big hearts god bless you and merry Christmas 🎄
I live in north Idaho, and many people here have installed Generac generators (powered from a propane tank) that are automatically set to start if the power goes off. You'd have to install the switch to protect the back feed but it certainly would solve the issue you get with the extreme weather there. They are a little pricey but the peace of mind when you have younger children at home can be well worth it.
Hey, Harrly!
Its just like Montana!!!
You guys are legit, standing out in the cold like that. Brrr.
jasper, alberta has the same problem with windshields. our taxi driver 2 years ago had a broken windshield, and they delay getting them replaced due to the cost.
Florida, while it doesn't get Alaska cold, it can get to below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. It really depends upon the part of Florida. It's not super often that it gets that cold, but I do know what I need to do to keep stuff from freezing including my husband and myself.
be safe and careful during winter till winter stops and passes so can go outside and have fun agian one day 😊...
Morning somers family from a damp and dark U.K. , will definitely be ordering tonight off your Alaskan apparel , we have every single Christmas decoration from every year right back to when you very first started , also love the last frontier hoodie .
I am sad your family and a lot of others lost power for a period of time! Thankfully it returned after several hours.
Merry Christmas Happy Peoples
Hi from California. I enjoy seeing all the snow that we dont get in central CA.
Bert. Your wife sells ear muffs, those ears are red! Love learning about your area. Im in Indiana and Kentucky area
electricity goes off during the winter we use a pellet stove when we keep the house warmI have a heater in my room put on oxygen 24/7 but we have oxygen tanks case we need it
Merry Christmas Summers Family!! You are such a great family! Love how you bless people all the time!
Hello guys Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Olivia reminds me so much of my daughter when she was at that age. Actually, Emma wasn’t that much older when we discovered your channel and she decided to make Bert her buddy. 😂
If you get the chance, Bert, I'd love to hear Harley's opinion on electric vehicles in your region. I'm guessing that's a non-starter. 😆
I have a 2017 Jeep patriot 75th anniversary edition and I don’t think it would make it very long up there in Alaska. I like my jeep, but I don’t like the cold and I live in southwest Michigan. Yes it does get cold here, but not like Alaska.
You might be surprised how many people drive Jeeps in Alaska. Putting a cover in front of the radiator is a must.
The kids need confidence in starting a fire?
Same with generator.
It is nice to see Audrey learning how to start the generator.
✌️
North Dakota may not have the length of cold as Alaska but we do get down the 40’s below zero I understand how the cold can and does affect vehicles.
Well I recently had a check engine light in my SUV. Ended up being a new turbo needed and was a $$$$ job.
We had ours come on awhile back, they said it was the purge valve, replaced it, light went off, only for a week. Now its back on and still need to take it back to see what it is now... So hard to find a good mechanic!!
8:20 Talking about cracked cylinder blocks, when I lived in Germany I drove VW Beetles, which are air cooled. No problem with antifreeze in winter. It got a lot colder in Germany than England. It must be a nightmare in Alaska during the winter, keeping vital vehicles road-worthy. Why don't more vehicles have air cooled engines?
Hello Somers in Alaska❤❤❤❤❤❤plus Castner❤
I've seen people tarpaulin should or try to tie in to trees so don't let the snow pile on it snow
Come visit here in Greenbrier County, West Virginia! We drive back dirt roads, look over and see drop offs🤔
My Grandma is from White Sulphur Springs, and my mom talks about how beautiful it is there. I would love to come visit some day.
@ you may get hooked on the place, there are still some places here where you can’t get cell service!! Have a wonderful holiday!
@@stefanielynn84there is a White Sulphur Springs in Montana.
@@junebryant5159 thank you! You too!
@@akbychoice neat 🙂 I didn't know that.
We live in SC, so if and when we loose power it's usually during summer because of thunder storms. Thunder storms sometimes have high winds so that causes tress to get blown down on power lines. During the winter it can get icy here sometimes, so the power will go out from again, the trees falling down on power lines. We invested in a Generac generator that is hooked up to our house. So whenever the power goes out, it comes on. We don't have to do anything. I love it!!! Best money ever spent on our house. Have you guys ever considered a house generator living in Alaska? Just curious. God Bless your family and Merry Christmas from SC!!!
I'm back Bert. The thing is. The cars today they are just putting to much stuff on them. Electronic and computers. Some cars you almost have to take them half apart. To get to the part that needs fixing.
Merry Christmas from Palmdale, CA ❤ xmas 🎄
Bert you asked the Wright questions for auto because I was thinking about the question hardly said well guys it's starting to snow in Augusta west Virginia very slowly thanks for the video God bless you and your family amen
Merry Christmas
I hate cities I love having space between me n people many blessings from North Texas ❤
