In honor of the 10th anniversary of my first full-length comic, Betrothed: The Series!

Betrothed tells the story before the story of The Lion King, about Queen Uru and King Ahadi - Mufasa and Scar (Taka)'s parents. It's about duty vs. desire, loss, unrequited love, and temptation. Uru, in her betrothal to Ahadi, has had many things decided for her. She still finds a way to make choices, but are they the right ones?
Stay tuned! The aim is to have an episode uploaded every Monday! This one just happened to be in time for the last day of Labor Day weekend. ^^

I can't get over how much I love this, its strange its like a whole new story with audio. The voices have me think about the characters a little differently. I think I first discovered your comic in 2017 its great! Uru is such a nurturing mother. It feels like the old Disney movies from the 90's that I wish were still made today.
Thank you for bringing the Lion King back it's been awhile ever since the series died

What makes a difference Mufasa is only king because of his age why would she say it is not because of his age
She's saying it's not because he's the OLDEST in years, but the fact he was born first. And... there's more to the story than just Mufasa being the oldest. I'll admit, that isn't the best writing of dialogue that I've done. Looking back, I'd change those lines to something else. LOL

It’s Lala, one of the scores by the guy who did the original lion king African choir for the movie. But due to copyright laws it may need to be changed.
