In honor of the 10th anniversary of my first full-length comic, Betrothed: The Series!

Betrothed tells the story before the story of The Lion King, about Queen Uru and King Ahadi - Mufasa and Scar (Taka)'s parents. It's about duty vs. desire, loss, unrequited love, and temptation. Uru, in her betrothal to Ahadi, has had many things decided for her. She still finds a way to make choices, but are they the right ones?
Stay tuned! The aim is to have an episode uploaded every Wednesday! This one is a bit late due to technical difficulties and the wildfire dangers on the US west coast. (We're doing a lot better now.)

You chose very good VAs for the characters only thing I actually DIDN'T expect was cub Ahadi to have such a deep voice but that's about it. I can't wait for episode 2 I really liked reading the comic so I'm looking forward to hearing the voices you chose to give them all 🙂
He does have like a grown up voice but anyway

It's been years since I last watched the lion king and when I look up I see comics about him.
I listened to my voice for the first 3 lines and I felt like I didn’t show enough emotion but still liked it
It's all good. :) I still think you fit the part well. And everyone feels inadequate after listening back to their first voice acting project - regardless of whether that's true or not.

Rogue Lion Productions I think it’s also because I record with my phone and that makes the quality different and hearing your own voice is strange
Super excited and loved it! Everyone did so well! The music muffled some of our voices a bit here and there but over all I think it is amazing and I cannot wait until next week!

This is coming along great. My only issue is that Ahadi sounds a touch older and it seems a bit odd coming from a cub where as Uru's voice seems fine for her younger years.
But maybe I'm just being nitpicky.

It's all good. :) I had a deeper voice in my head for cub Ahadi for a long time, so this one's on me for making the decision. ^^; BUT I like it. XD

The voices are all really good, although I kind of wish some of their mics had better quality. Don't get me wrong, they did an excellent job, just that's my only small complaint. Loved it though!

How old is Ahadi supposed to be here? I'm sorry but his voice really throws me off, it sounds like a mid adolescent/teen voice coming out of what I assume is a 9-10 year old child.. other than that I really like it so far. I like Uru's voice the most. Although I always pronounced her name as "you-roo" not "ooh-roo" haha, it's weird to hear it said like that.
Rose Vee My voice was edited in the later clips but the early clips of my voice were just my plain voice so yeah I sound somewhere in between the ages of 11 and 17 half the time
@@benpace8228 Well I hope they will go back at some point and fix that. It really throws me but I guess I'm the only one haha.
Rose Vee no you weren’t the only one I thought it sounded weird too the first few clips of my voice were last second takes because the previous takes had distortion in the middle of them that we hadn’t noticed until like a day before the episode had came out 😂
@@benpace8228 Well it's not distortion I'm bothered by it's the pitch, it sounds too deep for a cub that small.
Rose Vee the original takes had the pitch edited I believe but I have a rather deep voice for my age so it should be better next episodes we got rid of the original takes because of distortion for the first few lines but the ones you are hearing are pretty much just my plain voice
