    Lovely photography Connor. Colorado was certainly beautiful, and varied in the scenery.

    Awesome shots. Love the reverse tilt reveals. Also appreciate you putting the locations in the description. Just moved to Colorado so I'm definitely checking out these spots.

    Connor, how rare it is to run across an actual aerial cinematographer with heart lately. And you have it. You know It seems al the greats just quit. But legends retire I suppose and were left with well... posers. LOL. But really though The greats, like yourself, have all but deserted the aerial cinematography scene. Today, we have been over-saturated with what I tend to call the "Look Around Rec flyer." with the jerky movements and straight on flying. No more reverse tilt reveals, no more dolly shots, no imagination, nothing well thought, not anymore. I practiced these cinematic maneuvers for many years (since the Phantom 3) before I even had the guts to upload what I would consider a decent movie. And I'm still holding back because I feel it just had to fit and flow perfectly. But Today you search and its the same old thing. And I so I miss it, and we had all greats, guys like "Man and Drone", John Duncan, Michael Shainblum, Jay Worsley to name a few. And all creating something completely original and absolutely stunning. You'd hang on to every single second of their films. From start to finish it was this all encompassing, story telling experience that would bring chills. These movies would literally want to make you stand up in front of the TV and clap. Connor, the tracks these guys used, OUT of this world. It was the whole entire package. I learned from all of them. I remember Jay Worsely saying once, "surround yourself with pilots who are ten times better than you, and you will eventually find yourself at the next Drone Film Festival. And he actually placed. Connor, this.. right here is an award winner, I'm so glad you're filming. You are truly one of those greats. And how did I like Colorado? well I live in Nederland, so I'm living in a post card every single day of every season. Well done Connor, very very well done. I look forward to seeing another. Anytime you want to explore new locations, you know where to find me.

      Ned Studios oh, and I’m very jealous you get to live in Nederland. I’ve been there many times and love that town. It wasn’t featured in this video but it could fit in naturally.

    Hey Connor! I came across your feed from the Yes Theory channel/groups!
    This is an awesome video! I find it crazy that you haven’t posted in 5 months, you had it going! Are you still making videos or any other forms of content? Maybe this will serve as inspiration to get back on the grind!
    As for a bit on myself (my name is William!), I started making content with the aim of teaching people to break free of societal norms by seeking discomfort & testing their own limits! A few months after starting, my friends told me to check out this channel called Yes Theory as they said my content reminded them of it.. and like you, I’ve been so inspired by the lifestyle they preach!!
    Hope you have an awesome day and you are awesome, keep being you! 😁☝🏻

      Hey thanks for reaching out. Glad you liked the video! I plan on making more content, but this year has been a whirlwind. Because of Covid I lost my job and my wife and I had to move unexpectedly for a new job I found. I’m building roots in this new city and once we are more situated I plan to make more content. I’ll check out your channel. I’m a long time subscriber or Yes Theory so I’m sure I’ll like yours content. Stay well!

    Hey Connor! Great video! Loved the soundtrack as well as the landscapes. Can I ask you what equipment you used for this video? Drone, Camera, sound recording etc.? Thanks in advance! Keep up the great work. Best regards, Mario

    • @connormoriarty
      @connormoriarty  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mario. Thank you! Glad you liked it. The only thing I used for this video is a DJI Mavic Air. Nothing else, no sounds. All sounds were added in editing (birds, water, wind, trees, etc). I just use stock sound websites for those. And I use Premiere Pro to edit. Hope that helps!

    • @mariofink4520
      @mariofink4520 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@connormoriarty Thanks a lot! To me it is always a bit difficult to add the right amount of sound effects. You handled that perfectly! That's what makes this video great and not just good :)

    • @connormoriarty
      @connormoriarty  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mariofink4520 thank you! I really appreciate that! I studied soundscapes and sound design in college. It can be tricky. There’s definitely a fine line to putting enough in that it adds to the film, but not so much that it’s distracting or unrealistic. I would definitely recommend recording sound on your own though. It’s more authentic. For example, some of the bird samples I used were of birds not native to the area I was shooting. Little things like that really add to the authenticity of the film.

    • @mariofink4520

      @@connormoriarty Okay, that makes sense ;) It is just a hobby for me, so I do not really have the time to put so much effort into these details. But I guess that is what seperates the pros from the hobby videographer :) I think not even locals of Colorado would have noticed that these birds are not native to the area. But nevertheless, great piece! Thanks for answering my questions :)

    This is a sick video man! I was wondering where was the location of the first scene and is it illegal to fly your drone in these parks or are these parks not considered as a National Park?

    • @connormoriarty
      @connormoriarty  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the support! Glad you liked it! I make sure never to fly anywhere I’m not allowed to, especially national parks. The only national parks I was close to in this video was Rocky Mountain national Park and great Sand dunes, and I was right on the edge of the park. I use an app to make sure I’m allowed to fly. All it takes is a handful of irresponsible drone flyers to ruin it for the rest of us.
