Not sure! The bolts on the Kor Roof were pretty old, really added to the character and made things a little exciting! I’ve heard that all bolts in Yosemite are hand drilled as per national park rules. What was really wild to me were the pin scars, those cracks must’ve been so thin in the early days. Would’ve been much harder aid!
@@dylanday810 In 2021 we got site #1 without reservations and stayed there for a month. The park was smoky from wildfires though so maybe it just wasn’t crowded.

@@extreme_ryan_delena Yes! When I was climbing there, we pounded a LOT of pitons. The new hardware is so much more environmentally friendly.
Camp 4 is always full man, you have to book like a year in advance.
