If I lived in London I’d be going to every train station to listen to you guys playing as well as to dr.k. Cannot understand why folks don’t stop to listen. If you played in Dublin, Galway or Cork etc…you’d have a huge crowd stopping to listen to you!
I am in awe! Even with lessons this still has to be a gift you're born with. How else could all ten of someone's fingers move with such lightning speed, hitting all the perfect notes/keys to make such an incredible sound?? Simply amazing!
@lisa You're are absolutely right. I've been trying to play boogie for 40 years. I have 8 fingers, two thumbs and a piano: just lacking the talent. These guys are fantastic. Discovering Meade Lux Lewis many years ago got me hooked on boogie -- so good to see it alive and well in the 21st century.

I've been watching a lot of boogie woogie over the last several years, and I think I can honestly say there is NO ONE who compares with Theophilus Martins when he plays. That young man has a fantastic skill with the keyboard, and he's such a joy to watch and listen to.
Definitely a great ivory tickler. Dr. K…Terry Miles…Ben Toury…Henri Herbert…Ladyva are all great!! So many more. I don’t rate them , I just listen and smile!!

I luv dancing too! The beat is too fast for the average person- it was a bit slower, U would have people dancing! Fast BEATS ON STEROIDS is too hard for most people, so they won't even try. Being ballroom dancer, even many ballroom dancers couldn't do it!
