Great video again. The M12 engine in the tractor idles very nice. If mine runs so slow it will hit and miss. I think it has to work a little bit, like yours. Also the sideshaft engine (M25?)-runs very good. I hoped to see the Benz Gasmotor running😄. Very nice collection! Thanks for sharing.
I have a R90s and spent days to sort it. It's idling low like the real engine, no spitting fuel out of carb anymore. Lots of challenges with it but rewarding results at the end . H75 was absent there, but I hope it's working as great as it has been for me
Nice video ole friend. Good mix and enjoy the steamers you sprinkled in there and like to see em lumping along at slow rpm. Were those just one off finds here and there or do any of those kitted and you machined up? Overall just a dam nice presentation. Appreciate your efforts 212. Sometimes you wanna see something run but it's like an ole woman. It'll run when you supply her demands and only when she's good and ready.
I added fuel to the tank, choked the carburetor, turned them over by hand until I got fuel up to the inlet, and oiled them off camera. Every one of the gas engines have been ran before (no new ones in this video). I'm glad that you enjoyed it 👍
Great video always fun getting the engines out after a while. Say, I have a question for you about the milled 4 stroke bigger engine model. For some reason after running it for 30 minutes or so I would loose compression. I did some investigating, I pulled our the piston and took off the rings and saw there was crud built up around the rings. I cleaned it all up and I used some sae 30 oil to pre lube it before putting it back in. After putting it back in I had compression again, I am not using the 94 octane fuel fix in a can I'm just using regular 40 to 1 chainsaw mix but I am using rec fuel so no ethanol. I'm wondering if the 2 stroke oil I'm using is too thin and not making a oil seal around the piston rings. I'm planning on getting the pre mixed cans of fuel this weekend and try that out see if it keeps its compression. Sorry for the long comment and I hope it's not too long for you to read! Thanks again.
Hi Kevin, I think what is happening with it getting gunked up is because in order to make it run slow it has to have a rich mixture. I will lean mine out and let it rev up and blow the crud out before I shut it down (so far it has worked ok) 👍
Hi Arthur, some of these engines are factory built ready to run models, some of them are kits to assemble, and a couple are casting kits to machine and assemble and there are a couple that are one of a kind hand built and designed. The variety is one of my favorite things about engines, so many different ways to achieve the same outcome : turn a shaft
Fun times as always. Have a great rest of your week.
Loved it. thank you.
Great video. Just like moldyapples said, old friends, and, accomplishments.
I really enjoyed that. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing the eye candy!
Very relaxing and hypnotic 10/10.
Great video again.

Great stuff, like seeing old friends again! The two tractors (steam & gas) need to have a race!

Where these pre started or cold starts on the fuel engines thanks for posting

did you (or somebody) custom build these? !!! amazing detail and variety

Thats one nice traction engine sir 🇺🇸👍👍👍👍😎
