I like Alan Ritchson as Reacher so much, he makes the books better. I read them in his voice and way of speaking, and it enhances the story. OF course the books are a bit better because of the detail they can go into, but rarely does a movie/TV series based on a books make the books more enjoyable. This is one of those scenarios.
Can we all appreciate the fact that Reacher was holding the stretcher with a knife stuck in his arm, fought off a guy on top of him, and didn't react to Dixon pulling the knife out of Reacher's arm while Dixon wasn't holding on to the chopper it's self yet!?

I love the contrast between Reacher around people he respects versus what he does to that carjacker, just grabs him by the leg and throws him aside like what you do with worthless trash
Before Season 2 was even aired, Alan was on another promo video thanking everyone for their support... and then showing a chair that said Reacher Season 3 with the message that S3 was already in production. S3 was greenlit before S2 was even up. That's how confident Amazon was that this was going to be a hit.
Hope the season will stay true to the source material and make it a prequel. As the book's event's take place after Killing Floor, but before Bad Luck and Trouble.
Love S2, but they should've did Die Trying, the second book, to introduce Reacer's biggest "connection" as kJ mentioned in S1; Reacher's CO and "second father", General Garber
Years-long fan of the Reacher novels, and now the Reacher series. BUT there is a problem - Reacher is not a good-looking man according to Lee Child. I've always pictured Liam Neeson as the type. Alan Ritchson however is quite nice looking although he plays the part well. That's Hollywood for you.
I know most here compare Cruise to Richardson yes Richardson does suit and play the role better BUT when the Reacher Movies came out Richardson was not in the picture Cruise did a good job. Before those die hard's get animated I am just saying give credit where credit is due yes cruise stature is much smaller than that of the books but Richardson was not the star that he has become since Reacher series. Yes I would love to see remakes with Richardson and he would crush it but we are also comparing 10 or so years and how actors and production have evolved.
What was presented was done well. The problem is that at least a fourth, if not more, wasn't in the book. Santora took it down a grade by having Reacher negotiate the Bearer Bonds, which Reacher COULDN'T do! It's the reason Dixon had to do it in the novel. Hope "Persuader" is done better. Season 1 is a "B-". Season 2 is a "D".

I love reading and prime has a tendency to kill adaptations. But finally One adaptation is really worthy of the books. One can feel that the producers listened to Lee Childs input. I can understand some nevessary changes for the sake of the viewer. E. G. A constant friend and partner helping out in every season, loke Neagly but it still maintains the spirit of the books. Fine work Amazon. The same wwould work with wheel of time or rings of power. Nothing is better then the original often decades old beloved characters of the books. Instead of young arrogant showrunners$writing the novel Tolkien never wrote.

The first season of Reacher was very good, but the second season is so bad that I have trouble watching it. i dont know why people keep saying that season 2 is way better than one. they defently have 0 clue
@@Prospect_ few things i didnt like at all. the fight scences are just a mess to watch, like 15 cuts in 10 sec, too many stupid sayings and i didnt get warm with the cast at all. same people like saying john wick 3 was the best or matrix 3... maybe im just old.... I think I liked the first season more because it had more of a detectivision approach, now it feels like it's just a slaughterfest
i binge watched the first 2 seasons and now having withdrawals. This is a great show. sucks we gotta wait for season 3 and it also sucks that they will not release all episodes at once
No, I didn't miss the point! The jerk said "cops get away with murder all the time..." and then went on to disparage their training as less than a hair stylist. And when the Fraternal Order of police called him out for his BS, he fell back on what an "immature response." He is a pampered nobody who never gets shot at or assaulted, but he thinks he's all that. Let him do ride arounds in a cop car in Compton or Oakland or Detroit, let's see him talk crap about cops then!

They made Reacher look like a big doof in season 2. Very disappointed. Hope they go back to his keen analytical mind in season 3.
