Do you think this will be the highest budget Dragon Ball game we've had in a long time? I hope it will have a higher budget than Kakarot and Xenoverse did. My hope is that the developers are around our age so they probably grew up around this series as well. Let's hope they do it justice!

I'm looking forward to Tournament mode. It had all the different types of Tournaments. Hopefully we get Tournament of Power now too. A Battle Royale with like 6-8 characters per match then you meet an OP Jiren in the finals. I'm not sure if I'd like multiple characters on screen in a game like this, but if they make it exclusive to Tournament of Power thatd be dope.

I hope the story is a combination of Tenkaichi 2's where you explore the world, as well as Tenkaichi 3 with how you could press R3 during a story battle or choose not to which creates what if scenarios, as well as Infinite Worlds mini games like blasting Cell with the Neo Tri Beam. I think the story mode would have no problem covering both Dragon Ball Z & Super along with the Super movies. I just hope they still include OG Dragon Ball & Z Movie storylines & characters too. Make this the definitive Dragon Ball experience. The Dragon Ball official website stated Tenkaichi is known for faithful recreation of characters abilities as well as a "massive" roster so they know the high expectations for that roster. I think we are in for a big suprise when it comes to base content but I still expect DLC which I'm not opposed to for a Tenkaichi game because I want Tenkaichi 4 to be supported by Bandai Namco as long as the modding community has been doing with the fan made Tenkaichi 4.
I'm glad Rhyme discovered how great the OST from Super DBZ is. Really love Shinji Hosoe's works, and Super DBZ was one of his best, alongside the Street Fighter EX series OST

Kids played the game, got their asses kicked and couldn't do anything, and just didn't play it ever again, now the game is almost forgotten, glad Rhyme and Doto played it, and hope they'll play it again, maybe that way the game can finally get the popularity it deserved

Idk why but a core memory for me was when I first picked up the game and I was trying to learn how to play, they had you play as gotten training with Gohan. Hey Rhyme just so you know you can fix that outline glitch on the characters in the emulator by using Half-Pixel Offset: Special (Texture) along with Texture Offsets of 300/500 in the per-game settings. I had the same issue but that fixed it.
My favourite giant characters were always saiyans who don't usually have an Oozaru form but you were playing on a map with a full moon, I seriously hope they bring this back

Having "Automatic Game Fixes" enabled does NOT fix the character outlines. After all your dedication to the series, you guys deserve to play this with the best looking visuals possible. I had read someone arguing in a comments section talking bout FighterZ is better than all the old games cause it’s fair lol. I responded with “The old games weren’t known for their fairness. - Dotodoya” Back then it was about fun. Hours and hours on Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3. I barely play FighterZ and it ain’t cause I’m bad. There’s nobody to play as. They got like 30 characters and I think im being generous. You can’t even random battle in that game without getting the same character or matchup multiple times. Let alone online where people “main” certain characters.
New mode would have to be a little different. Make it easier to ring out as health bar goes down but have a mechanic in fighting where you can prevent yourself from hitting the ground(being knocked to the ground hard wouldn’t cost slight damage in this game)
Never played these games but watching you guys play them makes me want this new one pretty darn bad. Sucks that nobody I know is a Dragonball fan so I got nobody to play against
I'd like to see multiplayer Tournament Mode, setup basically the way it was during the couch days. However many players it supports, AI fills out the rest of the spots, and you just have fun PvE and PvP finale tournaments with your friends.

@Rhymestyle you should use triangle Circle right before you get attacked and you will then auto dodge and couterattack. Its incredible and will change everything for you my friend you can even pair it up with a Kamehameha

I only played the wii version, but if you do the input while blocking attacks, you can do a combo breaker that drains the opponent's ki.
Man I hope they add actual 2v2 like in tenkaichi tag team that game was fun as hell, they just need to fix the lock o. Mechanics

I had read someone arguing in a comments section talking bout FighterZ is better than all the old games cause it’s fair lol. I responded with “The old games weren’t known for their fairness. - Dotodoya” Back then it was about fun. Hours and hours on Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3.
I barely play FighterZ and it ain’t cause I’m bad. There’s nobody to play as. They got like 30 characters and I think im being generous. You can’t even random battle in that game without getting the same character or matchup multiple times. Let alone online where people “main” certain characters.

New mode would have to be a little different. Make it easier to ring out as health bar goes down but have a mechanic in fighting where you can prevent yourself from hitting the ground(being knocked to the ground hard wouldn’t cost slight damage in this game)

I'd like to see multiplayer Tournament Mode, setup basically the way it was during the couch days. However many players it supports, AI fills out the rest of the spots, and you just have fun PvE and PvP finale tournaments with your friends.
Yall should do some of the team battles. Maybe even the DP battles.
