- Hi guys, What's up! In today's video, I'm going to talk about the basic lappings. We are gonna learn how guide-bars place the yarns around the needles resulting in different knitted structures. In addition, you will also know the lapping board, that will be used to represent all the basic lappings, including: Pillar stitch, 1x1 lap, 2x1 lap, 3x1 lap, 4x1 lap, Atlas lap and Two-needdle overlap. Hello Mr. Rubel, are you ok? So, this is a tricot lapping repeated 10 times. Normally, but it depends how machines you have to develop this kind of lapping. You can't work with this lap. For example: One machine with 48 movements to produce one stitch with two movements is impossible to produce (1-0/1-2)x10//. The correct would be (1-0/1-2)X12//. Hope you get it. Success!

É possível sim, posso te sugerir por exemplo um tecido com ligamento Tuch na GB 1 e tricô na GB2, com fio PA 44/12 trilobal GB1 e Elastano 20 ou 40 na GB2, com essa configuração você já consegue um aspecto de tecido que você precisa. Hello Nilesh, thanks for your comment. Well, in this case we have the same repeat 0-2//. So, we don't need to write it again. Another example happens with the closed pillar stitch that has the chain notation 1-0//. We just write once. Hope I have helped you!
