Every Everton player worked his socks off in terms of effort. That must be applauded. Still footballing wise it was quite dire performance from our team. Apart from Pickford and especially his excellent penalty save, only Ndiaye showed real quality with his footwork in our team during the whole match. So there is much work to done on the training field to better our play, possession and passing wise. I loathe "soft" penalties. To be honest, the one Newcastle got was a right decision. Tarky forgot for a split second he was playing football, not rugby. And the call we didn't get a penalty, from the DCL incident, was also right imo. If one has an opinion, must be consistent to be trustworthy. And I'm now referring to myself concerning all penalty decisions in general. Btw DCL did have a good game. In our forthcoming games, when DCL is targeted with long clearances, he must have more of our players near to him so we can win much more second balls from his nods ons. Keep the belief, also in improving our overall play.
If you look at the weekly Everton training videos, they do a lot of impact exercises which cannot be good for the muscles or joints ( for example lying on their backs and stamping a concrete wall, holding heaving barbells and jumping) plus extended stretching of the legs in unnatural positions. Not got a clue why we are getting so many injuries though.
At 93 schar gets a yellow for doing a similar foul in midfield, so I don't think dyche is talking about it as if it came out of blue. It was a penalty!
Really. Why do we not have back up full backs for 4 transfer windows. You've been here Dyche and still patching. Excuses endless. Thank god the Friedkins will kick your loser arse out asap.
That was one of the worst performances from a referee i have seen in years he was giving Newcastle free kick after free kick every time anyone breathed on boring an he went down like a ton of bricks, free kick CORRUPT OFFICALS THE FA IS A DAM DISGRACE
If you go to.kick the ball but kick the calf of an opposition defender instead that does not equal a penalty. In fact if you kick an opposition player in the calf it should be a freekick so if the rebound does go in the goal should of been disallowed. Facts.
The player tries to disrupt the striker, doesn’t attempt to play the ball only the man. He hit Calvert lewin with his hip before he makes contact with the back of his calf. As dyche said anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul. You have to make an attempt to play the ball, if you don’t it’s a foul, the rest is technical nonsense.
Yes the Newcastle one was a pen but you need to read the rules about players kicking the opposition players first as your was clearly not a pen .If Burn had kicked DCL first I would have agreed with you about been a penalty, but you can't give a pen for an attacking player kicking a defender first . Still hope you don't get relegated as I do like your new stadium which you will be from next season .
Sean Dyche is not the manager for Everton. His teams play poor football, his tactics are all wrong, and he’s never won anything at this level. He’s more of a Championship/League 1 type of manager. Everton have not progressed with any significance since he arrived, and they should appoint someone with a better record!

We're still not keeping the ball well enough.

You do realize that you do not support Man City right?

Pickford has miss it
Please can anyone take DCL in January.
Wasn't a pen
Calvert Lewin kicks BDB in the back of the leg and they want a pen? Meanwhile back in the real world...........
Idiot no idea of the rules. Nailed on pen.

The lad puts his leg across Lewin without attempting to get the ball… he tripped Lewin, not rocket science
@@mikeconstantinou-g1w lol watch the foul again ....dcl trips over his own shadow
@@SuperEthel that’s young mr Gordon you’re thinking of… defender puts his leg across, nowhere near the ball… its a foul..

Newcastle should have won that game without a doubt.Everton are bloody awful.
The pen only gives dyche a way to distract from should have been pumped
Great away point robbed of all three goalkeeper clearly moves,we tore Everton apart so unlucky up the toon

Laughable. go have a good cry.
Missed penalty, shot cleared off the line...I think we robbed the point mate ;) Gordon took an age and looked like a scared, fake blonde, mullet noob
You are shiiite, Gordon is weak, 5 stone and f'king bottled it hahaaa, 72 years d head.
A goalkeeper is allowed to move, he moves when he breathes. He is not allowed to move off his line ... and he didn't !!!
