I have several cameras. A very wide variety makes and models. I part them out and fix them all. My question is when testing power how can you determine the voltage needed if you have absolutely no information on the camera. No model number no brand name no indicator markings on the boards. 5v? 12v? I don't want to damage it with too much power. Thank you

Does security cameras has IR filter?

It depends if they are meant for night vision or not, night vision uses IR so those won’t have an IR filter.
