Not if you have enough of them, and you can make them farm their own food… somehow (as most will be at least one arm down)

*Fun fact:* Bossk's last appereance in Legends during the Yuuzhan Vong War reinforced how much he hated wookies. Near the end of the conflict, he was already retired and met Han in a space station, mocking Chewbacca's death in Solo's face. This caused a fight that ended with both men being sent to detention cells
Han fought Bossk? Damn. I would imagine Bossk, throwing Han around, and Han picking up things around him and hit Bossk with it, Han fighting style is "fighting dirty"

I prefer the EU Canon, even the terrible Yuuzhan Vong... as much as I love Chewie, Chewie dies but Han and Luke and Leia live... unlike the crap we got with the New Trilogy... at least Chewbacca lived I guess...

Unlike most wookies krasantan volunteered for the arenas instead of being captured. Alot of his desire to fight trandoshians stems from not only the historical aspect but his nature as a pit fighter who commonly slew trandoshians.
It’s the googley eyes, if they stared at me like that and I was a Wookie I’d start swinging too.

If more Wookies were like Hanharr and Krrsantan, they wouldn't be constantly enslaved. It's strange that such a physically strong species native to a planet as savage as Kashyyyk turned into a bunch of wimpy pacifists.
Trandoshans always hunted Wookies for sport. Because of that Black Krrsantan basically repaid them with pain and having their arm ripped off from their socket.

Yeah, when Black K was attacking the Trandoshans i was like "what the fk dude, leave the guys alone", i mean the Trandoshans was minding their buisness and having fun, but Black K here decide to ruin their fun.

When you think about it, that might have saved his life by scaring him into not coming back to the cantina for a while. And his limbs will regrow.
Perhaps these group of Trandoshians heard about that one group of hunters who kidnapped both Ahsoka and Chewie and how they got their scaly butts kicked and took on a new approach

I believe also in Black K's case he had fallen victim to trandoshian slavers earlier in his life, which likely helped foster such anger against the species as a whole for him (Correct me if I'm wrong it's been a while since I looked anything about Black K up)
In legends it was because wookiees and trandoshans have super bad blood, having fought wars between eachother, and being in the same system as eachother both fought for domination of the system. And then when the Empire took over, the Trandoshans actually helped to initiate the Empire with the Wookiee slaving process (spelling fix)
If it's not canon then it never happened. There is no mention of the Empire during Black Krrrasantan early days as a exiled or when he started his gladiator ways.

I heard the tension between Wookies and trandoshans started because even though trandasha was in the same system as kysheek the wookies took credit in the republic for being the heads of the entire system.The trandoshians were offended by this and retaliated and that’s when their life long rivalry started.
Pretty sure it starts before that. Transoshians hunt Wookies to get "points" for their version of the afterlife. Not sure when this religion started though.

Nah, since pre-republic days Kashyyk was a target for slave raids from Trandosha.
In The Force Awakens, instead of just sabotaging Starkiller base, Chewie should have hacked the targeting sensors and aimed the next shot at Trandoshar, and maybe a few of the Hutt core Worlds.
You did see where Trandosha and Kasshyyk are in the same system, right? And how Starkilller Base differs from the Death Stars in that it destroys the entire system? Targeting Trandosha-not the best idea.

Come now we all know the real reason is because having you arm ripped off by a Wookie is a great honour in Trandoshan culture and the Wookies just want to help the Trandoshans to raise their standing amongst their peers. It's very altruistic if you have an understanding of honour based cultures.

B.K. also had the same reaction when attacking Fettes Crew he completely lost his mind the second that he saw the Gamorean Guards who he probably had a history with in the gladiator pits.. by tackling himself and the pig-like aliens down the stairs he not only probably injured himself but also absent mindedly gave a huge advantage and allowed them to organize better.
I could see the Yautja and Trandoshans teaming up to hunt Xenomorphs only to later hunt each other.

At this point, I'd rather have a Black Krrsantan show... Boba is not acting like I thought he would. To much talking, to much helmet removal, Temuera Morrison is right... This isn't the Empire Strikes Back Fett of few words... However, every scene with Black Krrsantan has been great, the guy who plays him is fantastic with the facial expressions, eye movements, etc.

If this is the official reason the Wookie attacked the Trandoshans, then it's (somewhat) there own fault. They should've been on high alert the second they saw him, even in what is supposed to be neutral territory.
It would've been amazing and hilarious for just a bunch of Trandoshans to barge in and stop the Wookies' Life Day celebration at the end scene of the Star Wars Holiday Special.

One thing to note: I always believed it was canon that Han Solo first met Chewbacca while he was still a Lieutenant in the Imperial Navy. I remember reading a Star Wars graphic-novel on how Lt. Han Solo went aboard Chewbacca's smuggling ship after intercepting it, and an Imperial officer commanded him to kill Chewbacca and return with his hide. Han Solo said 'NO." And that was the beginning of their beautiful friendship.

Watching the video I noticed it showed the two different types of trandoshans. The typical trandoshan has three fingers, but they have a lesser subspecies with five fingers. To the trandoshans in this video was the subspecies.
