Heavy rains across the Bay area have led to flooding throughout the region. On Wednesday evening, rainwater swamped streets in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Areas of Gulfport on 58th Street and St. Petersburg 34th Avenue and 66th Street all saw heavy flooding Wednesday. Some streets saw mid-tire levels of water before receding. Intersections in West Tampa, Carrollwood and Town ‘N Country in Tampa also had street flooding.
