good knife for the price you all sharp right out of the box and stays that way the tree i cut down was more than 2 inches through the butt hickory is tough wood
Mike, what do you think of the sharp spine on this knife? I have Mora bushcraft black and have cut my finger on it while cutting up a deer. Did you have this problem at all? Good job on this review. Keep up the good work.
Hi Mike, I have bought a few of the Eldris...I have not had one of them slip out yet after 3 years. I wonder if yours wore away at the point where it connects in handle or if yours may have been a little defective.

I agree with your complaint about the neck strap and retainer not being standard. They do sell the neck strap and knife retainer at an extra cost.
You sold me on them Mike, I have a Mora but not one like this one. I'll be purchasing one soon .Thanks for sharing.

Love mine. It will carve a bowdrill set no problem. Never had it fall out of the sheath yet.

I also have that knife and really enjoy it. It tucks away nicely in small kits and performs like a larger knife.

I heated my sheath with a heat gun and closed it a little to get more retention

beating the back of your cheap but strong mora knife doesnt make you a green thumb. My mora companion is perfect for me out in oregon.
i strapped my eldris to my crkt chance in hell .....has been working out great so far
