at first i thought that it would look aged and old on the road for 2018 where all lambos nowadays are quite sharp and pointy in design and sound mental but man was i wrong, that thing looks and sounds like it's gonna take off any moment
Absolutely agree! In the showroom I didn't like it very much. Thought it looked badly proportioned. But in the rolling shots it looks like a freakin fighter jet :O

James Iliffe Absolutely!!! My TH-cam watching time is about 60/40 cars and knives. My prized possession is an oft broken 1984 Honda CRX. Identical to what I drove in high school. I’ve owned a long string of great cars until kids and stuff sucked up my money.

Dude so proud of you, this is my third favorite supercar behind the 430 scuderia and 1st gen superleggera, love your channel because you and sam are the only people on this platform that dont just buy huracans and gtrs because its gonna get the most views.

Paul, the murcielago is my favorite car aswell, had mine for 3years. I do recommend you checking the engine and the clutch every 1500miles, just to be sure and replace small cheaper parts. Have fun!

15:35 and that's the moment when you pass from enthusiasm to the first "mhh something is not right, I might have to take her to the dealer for an inspection". These cars are great BUT imho just too much pain with the maintenance...yes, when they work they are awesome, but all the other times is just pain and bills. I justify this 100% on classic cars (pre 90s) but not on post 2000 as the experience is not that different to what you can get in a modern one (like the Huracan he had) that comes with much more reliability and (almost) assle free ownership
AN D1 exactly, the difference between owning a Murcielago and say a Huracan is colossal! It’s a V12 flagship car. The car was made for the ultra rich, yes these cars are relatively cheap in comparison to an Enzo, SLR, or Carerra GT. But, it’s still a hypercar and comes with hypercar expenses. I don’t like this guy but, I really think he’s made a mistake with this, 15:35 could be the clutch slipping OR E-Gear system issues. £££££
For hill starts on The Single clutch gearbox: use the brake as if it were a clutch, when you set of with the gas have your foot on the brake and release and till you feel the bite of the clutch, this way you won’t roll back, I had the same reaction of the gearbox when I got my SMG e46 m3.
I dont normally bother posting comments. But I did really enjoy this video. I remember picking my Esprit up and driving it 90 miles back home. Just like you I was so excited, nervous worried to death about knocking or scrapping it. And drove it all the way home like a total noob while the car was all over the road. I also didn't video myself, so credence to you for that …. all the best .

Many people were like that when STG got his 360...but now it's still in his garage and there's absolutely 0 sign he would sell it soon. I guess SOL will follow suit.
The way he is afraid to drive it shows he can barley afford it. You can hear him over and over say he’s afraid of it breaking; why? Because he probably can’t afford to maintain it. I love the car, but I don’t think he will keep it long.
It’s actually pretty great you had your dream car and took us through a bit of your journey in getting it. A lot of youtubers out of nowhere drop a new car vid and it’s the first we’ve heard of it. Happy for you mate, enjoy.

Hey, what’s wrong with the headlights? I noticed it in the first video but thought could be the lighting! There really foggy as if moisture has got in and misted the inside of the glass or caused some kind of permanent fogging! Also the car defiantly looks like it’s crabbing somewhat for some reason!?
No the car is not crabbing its how wide it is at the back from the front, the camera gives that effect.
That car actually looks insane - it has a classic Lambo vibe but still looks tough as. Good work.

They're too clean and clear so you can see the gray plastic light casing.

Buying a car like this in 2018 in a matter of taste. Not the most beautiful and modern lambo but very impressive looks and the real driving experience. I love it

The pedals are setup for left foot braking and I recommend you do left foot brake as it allows you to get on the brakes much faster when you need to

If it's something you've been dreaming about, you'd want to take care of it. Drive it hard, don't beat it up. There's a difference.
For him it's beating up :))) he barely drove hard his "drift project car" C63 AMG... So what are we talking about... as for youtuber and car enthusiast as he is, there's no point of driving Murci carefully. Both - his own happiness/enjoy level and his youtube channel revenue/views will be higher if he could care less about the clutch.
scorpas if he broke his clutch because he’d driven it too hard, for it to then be stuck in a garage until it was repaired by Lamborghini, I’m sure you’d be the first to complain there was no longer super car content on his channel. Just let him be happy ffs why do you need to complain? It’s an extortionate amount of money to spend on a car, especially an older one with I’m guessing limited warranty. Unless you’re a multi millionaire a repair bill will be stupidly expensive and he’d be an idiot to dis-regard that.
Im pretty sure there is a good quality services around London that can do a clutch replacements quicker and cheaper, plus if I remember correctly there are a better quality clutch kits on the market for murci that will last longer than OEM ones. I get this point of carefull driving and only servicing it at Lamborghini. And also willing end up selling it for more than he spend.. I get all that.. But he's a TH-camr! Content creator! He will find himself without creative ideas once again, after a wrap, exhaust upgrade, McDonald's rullete and one trip with Sam to Monaco... :) while his TH-cam content could be epic if would go bannanas with mods and wouldn't be worried about the clutch at every gear switch. Just saying.
The clutch is about £2,200 so not much more than my bmw lol .

Turbocharging makes sense on so many levels but nothing beats high revving naturally aspirated noise.
That was a really nice first drive mate! It looks really good on the road (nice shots). It sits really low and you can see how wide it is in the back. Congratulations once again! Personally though I would be too afraid to get one of these. I'd rather get a 458 Italia, but of course this something else entirely.
