Those specs are the best for the Lp640. White and dark grey rings rims. I remember watching a japanese review of that exact one with red interior. It was great looking.
I had the privilege of driving the first murcielargo around a track in 2005 and it was epic, I had driven a F360 and 911 turbo just before but the lambo was in a different league, the heavens opened on lap 1 and I started to back off a bit but the instructor told me to floor it and avoid any standing water, the grip levels were out of this world, such an impressive car, and proper limbo looks, especially when the vents open up.

Certainly! The engine in the Murciélago is essentially still the same, though updated, engine that was designed by Giotto Bizzarrini in 1963 for the Lamborghini 350GT, for which he drew on his prior experience designing F1 engines. Many design aspects of the Lamborghini V12 were directly inspired by F1 engines of that time. So in a way, this engine can trace some of it's DNA back to actual '60s era F1 engines!
That is the best spec’d Merci I have seen to date. Painting the intake the Bronze color that imitates the magnesium cobra used in there best cars since the glorious Diablo SE30 would really complete the package. Thanks for sharing!

My favourite Lambo is the Diablo SE30, but rationally if I would have the money I would absolutely buy an LP640, I think this is the most beautiful modern Lamborghini. LP670, Aventador.. and everything since looks too "try hard" for me, they are not emitting this timeless pure design vibe which this model and the earlier ones still had.
This car, and hurucan performante, diablo and a second hand aventador are all the same price theses days and exterior looks wise i’d have the mercy all day!!!!!

Pretty nice to see when nearly everyone who thinks they have 'made it' on TH-cam seems to get a Huracan/Aventador/R8! I love seeing the older cars getting some love.
Its also down to the Aventador coming to the end of its production life, the Murci has suffered in its shadow being the "old" car that's not a classic but not new either - now that's going to happen to the Aventador thus entering the Murcielago into classic status giving it more of an appeal.
@I LOVE MARIJUANA On most cars the seats face forward on these the seats are pointed inwards, the drivers side is tuned to the right, the passenger side is turned to left. It's due to the placement of the transmission, its next to the seats.
It might be the most desirable because it has depreciated so badly and can be had for under £150k. It's also one of the worst driving modern Lambos according to many who have driven one. The V12 engine sound and drama are incredible though.
worst driving? No owner would say that. No owner has only the Murcielago either, so can make fair comparisons. Out of the box, with no modifications, the Murcielago is a better drive than most cars, and feels way more special than an R8/Huaracan or 911 etc. The cars that do drive better (in the dry) are lightweight cars (some Ferrari's like the Challenge Stradales etc), and high horsepower lotus exige's (usually modified though). I think the v12 in my DB9 sounds way better than the V12 in the Murcielago, but it is still good. As for depreciation, yes you can get one for under £150K now, but they where only in the £200-£220K range when new... they are in fact appreciating (and special editions like the LP670 SV cost more now than when they where new...)
OzCarGuy of course no owner would say that 😂 It would be like admitting you wasted your money or that your wife was ugly. It is the worst driving modern Lambo. Why do you think they haven’t retained their value like the Aventador has? You can pick up a Murci for £140k but quite frankly if I had the money there is faster, more modern and better handling machinery to be had for that money.
A decent Murcielago when new was £160k can be had now for £130-140k - not badly depreciated unless you sold it at the bottom of its depreciation of around 5-6 years ago. As for driving experiences, they are full of theatre and poser factor that some other more up to date 'Drivers' cars can't match.
This is indeed a heavy car. One of the best looking Lamborghinis with this specs. An improvement in terms of looks and performance over the original Murciélago. Sadly not the same case as with Aventador and Aventador S. Compare to the cars was rivaling to back in 2006 - 2008 for example. In straight line: It's faster than f430, f430 scuderia, 997 turbo,Nissan GTR, C6 Z01, Viper GTS. Equal to a 599 gtb and at track is faster too. The only cars faster than this were the Enzo, Carrera GT, SLR, koeniggsegs and the Paganis that were way expensive.
My 2008 Lp640-2 is the last Lamborghini ill EVER OWN!! I was dissapointed to seee you did not buy a TRUE MANUAL.....TRUE CARS DONT SHIFT THEMSELVES... I wont buy another Lamborghini until they put a gated shifter back in it.
