howdy Jim and/or Crystal. Is a walking tour from the DVC Disneyland Villas (Discovery Tower) to the parks/Downtown Disney on the schedule? I'll be staying there in November. Want to try to get my bearings in planning my days/early entry- thank you as always.
We actually have that walk from the Disneyland Hotel to Disneyland, that can be found here: th-cam.com/video/6_HcKa-jWc8/w-d-xo.html The DVC Villas are just a little bit of Distance away from from the DLH lobby, but this walk give you an idea what it is like.
Currently this security area that went through is under construction and will be dedicated DLH guests. Currently the security entrance is just a little south this entrance we used in this video. We are not sure when this exact path will reopen.

Hi, how can you get into Disneyland Park from the Grand as Early Entry?? Do they have a sign at the Main Gate? Trying to make a plan to see Rise of Resistance early… thank you in advance!
Hi! Actually, when we stayed early entry wasn’t back yet. So we haven’t been able to experience it.
From what we have read, I think everyone is let in early onto Main St. To get access to the areas that are open for early entry, you need to show your room reservation in the app. I’m not sure where they check this at. Best guess would be Main St. is roped off at some point, and there is a certain area for early entry guests to show their room key or reservation. We are sorry we couldn’t give you more detailed information. You might want to ask at check in or even ask in the chat feature on the app, so you know ahead of time. Have such a fun trip!

Is this security check also acessible if we were staying at the Pixar Place Hotel?
Yes! You will need your room key to access the gate at the entrance of the Grand Californian. Then once you enter the GCH, you can use this entrance into Downtown Disney and go through security here. This is a much smaller security check point. So it can take longer when it’s more crowded. In the mornings we usually walk to the security entrance by the Disneyland Hotel from the Pixar Place hotel because the lines move faster. Thank you for watching!
