- Here is an install video on the new Lock’er Down USA center console safe for the ALL NEW 2019 Ram 1500 Limited and Longhorn models. This is the first available center console safe on the market for the new Ram 1500, especially the Limited and Longhorn models since the center console is a little different.
This safe in particular was upgraded with Lock’er Down’s EXXTREME lid. The eXXtreme lid covers the entire top of the lid opening leaving no gaps between the door and walls of the safe using 10 gauge steel plate. I also upgraded my safe with their electronic lock. More convenient access, no extra key to carry around or hide, no fumbling with an old school dial lock, and your passcode can be up to 15 digits for extra security.

Can you slide center console back with cupholder cover open?
J lee yes, the tray will still slide all the way back with both covers open.

Why don't you show the Pulling of the clips?
I believe it is only necessary on the model with the extreme lid. The regular lid doesn’t require you to pull the tabs if that’s what your referring to?
@@NinjaEdsBuilds25 He says that in the video. He installed an extreme lid locker, but skipped past the most nerve wracking part; grabbing a piece of your brand new vehicle with pliers and yanking at it.
Frankly to say, it's a bad design of RAM. I got a 2019 RAM 3500 with same console, hard to use, hard to install kinds of safe. this one make it's hard to take firearm out.
George C I thought the same thing about the huge center console but not an actual big center console storage with lid like s regular center console. But this is actually pretty nice. I don’t find it to be hard to grab my firearm out after storing it if needed. If ur talking about taking out quickly if u need it, that’s where u need to think about a holster mounted to ur dash or keep it on ur person like most people do.
