what if lock dies? is there a key backup? how would one get in if it fails?

As long as it’s under 2.5” in depth the tray will still fit.

I know what to do if battery dies but what do I do if the lock fails or I forget the combination?
A Safe Technician would have to drill or manipulate the safe/ lock open.
