Do the electron move fro and back in AC ? I mean do the electrons cover distance in forward direction in wires or not ? Electrons move one step forward and then same electrons step backward and continue forward & backward motion only that is why electroplating is not possible with AC ?
Hey, why doesn't the capacitor discharge start when v = 0 because the current only changes direction when v becomes 0 so shouldn't the capacitor be discharged when v becomes 0 also?
@@trigobrooken6260I think that's what OP is asking. The negative cycle only starts when V = 0. So why does the capacitor start discharging before V = 0 i.e before the negative cycle starts?

discharging of capacitor only occurs when current is blocked by diode during negative cycle
