- We have watched our local Wentworth Garden Centre grow from strength to strength over the years, and are certain it now has to be one of the best out there. Located in a stunning village surrounded by countryside and neighbouring one of the countries grandest country houses. Come with me and my mum for a look around and see what you think?

To finally exit from a maze: enter with your right hand on the wall of bushes and keep your right hand on the wall all the time; then you will go through the entire maze and then exit at the end! Try it you might get lost?

A bit like a botanic gardens. Loved the brick wall that showed itself now and then. I always wanted a secret walled garden. Never got one, but my husband made an enclosed secret fern house. Works for me. ❤🇦🇺

Hi Becky I love Wentworth we used to go every week on the motorbike in the 80s to the gorge and dragon pub the landlady there was eccentric and wear lots of ribbon and bits of wool in her hair .xx thankyou god taking me back to the best days of my life ❤.

Me and the missus enjoy going here, the cafe is lovely. She goes shopping for expensive plant pots which i hate, and i like the little farm to see the cows 😊

Love Wentworth is my favourite place brilliant for gluten free food and cakes christmas shop always give us ideas and in summer big sand pit and playgroup and the animals can't go wrong there something for all the family x

They had some lovely things to purchase, and i wouldn't have wanted to queue in that too..l was in Boyes today for that gorgeous pie of theirs. Throwing it down here all day though today. My brother and sister in law go to Wentworth often has they don't live to far away I visit when I visit them im in Hampshire they tell me one called Tic Hill which they really rate. Margaret
Hi we go everyday with our dog, the staff or extremely friendly although the new Pantry is rather expensive, no butcher now, it is the Pantry, the mince meat pies are amazing.😅
Yes it was the 1st time I'd seen the Pantry it's lovely but as expected ££££

This is our garden centre too, just a hop ,skip and a jump from our home. A lovely village is Wentworth!
As a strong recommendation, may we suggest Tong garden centre for your comparison visit. It is equally on par and it also has its own restaurant. It is well worth the trip and we have visited it many times. As you are aware we are also landscaping our garden and we have purchased many things from Tong.
We met you only last week and my Wife and I were very impressed by your flawless make up not to mention your beautiful aura. We wondered if you had ever considered including some of your make up tips in a follow up video. Your lipstick colour was FAB!

Hi Becky the garden centre looks lovely, I live near a lovely garden centre called gorden Riggs which is in Walsden Todmorden this is a lovely place to visit Todmorden is on the border of Lancashire and West Yorkshire not far from hebden bridge

WOW, that garden centre was huge and the lovely gardens with maze looked enchanting. I'd hate to be the guy that has to look after that maze of hedges. Always bring a flask of tea with sandwiches in case the area is way to busy like it was in the video. I charge 20 euros an hour for any further tips. lol
To be fair we've never struggled to get a seat in the cafe before it was just super busy that dayb
@@BeckandBeyond Well, that just opens the door to find something elsewhere. I prefer places with less people a quaint place that's less busy. Wherever the river takes you, that's the best way to go sometimes. One never knows what one might find and maybe it was meant to be that day. Hope you found a nice place to recharge the batteries. You're mom seemed to enjoy herself and I certainly enjoyed the video. I hope you enjoyed spending time with your lovely mother, you've only got one after all.

Hayes garden world in Ambleside is great, especially at Christmas. The grotto is very popular.. has to be pre-booked. We live in Cheshire but spend Christmas in the Lake District. On Boxing Day after breakfast we head straight there for the sale, we’ve had some great bargains.

Really? That's a shame we ate there a while back and it was fine but we only had a very basic meal which would be hard to get wrong!

Been to that garden centre lots of times, they do have some lovely things there and yes it’s quite expensive compared to others but there’s a huge choice. The conkers really do keep spiders away. Yes go back and take Eduard with you, it might be a fun vlog. The cafe is always busy and I’m not wasting my time queuing. Thanks Rebecca and mum.❤p.s there is a garden centre at Conisbrough I personally don’t know what it’s like but our family go there aswell as wentworth.

Wentworth is my favourite too Becky. My second best for me is Walkers in Doncaster, is fabulous too, the food is better than Wentworth to be honest. Inside isn’t quite as good in my eyes but I love the household items and the walk outside is beautiful. The drive is gorgeous too and the surrounding village has peacocks just walking around as if it’s normal. You need to go ❤

We said they could have little stalls dotted about, ice cream would do fantastic!
I used to enjoy going to Tickhill garden centre but not been for a few years, so no idea if it is still as good as it used to be.
I haven't been to Tickhill GC a few people have mentioned it. Tickhill is a lovely place to visit anyway.

There is also Ferndale garden centre at coal Aston or wards garden centre but there not as good as Wentworth xx

You should try a visit to Wentworth emporium.there is also a little tea room there ...

Hi have you been to Walkers Garden centre at Tickhill near Doncaster .it's a nice garden centre to have a look around and a nice restaurant as well .
A few people have suggested Walkers I need ti give it a go.
HI Becky, I think Wentworth Garden Centre is lovely but very very overpriced, I tend to go for an afternoon out when at a loose end and a walk round the grounds of the great house. I prefer to go to Markham Grange Garden Centre/Nurseries as they have pretty much the same type of set up but a lot more value for money and a Steam museum on site, its just off the A1 junc 38 - Your dad and Edward would enjoy the museum, although it closes on the 24th Oct for winter I think. Have you read the book Black Diamonds about Wentworth Woodhouse ?
I have read it, it's incredible! I'm so surprised they haven't made a movie about it!

Dukeries (Welbeck Estste) is lovely, not as big as Wentworth but has a lovely Art Gallery and Deli/Farm shop (award winning don’t you know 😉)
I live locally to Wentworth Garden Centre and remember it from way back and how it's changed. My auntie worked in the original cafe and my cousin still works in the restaurants. It's definitely one of the best garden centres in Yorkshire if not the UK and I've been to a few. Only one what comes close is Gates Nurseries nr Oakham in Rutland. I really don't like the chain garden centres.

Try Bents Garden Centre between Manchester and Warrington, family owned since 1937. It is good but Wentworth does look better.
